A shot from this morning, whilst with @skyephotoacademy clients. We stopped here after we finished at our first location as I anticipated the light coming out again, however giving my client plenty of time to get set up and be ready for the shot. Thankfully she also didn't mind me setting up alongside to get a shot myself.
The Corpach Wreck
I wont bore you with the details of this ship because the chances are you'll be disappointed like I was. Turns out, the ship ran aground a few years ago and was abandoned. That's kinda it haha. I'm happy that I got a shot of this iconic wreck as apparently it is getting relocated in the near future.
🔎 Did you know that… 🎃 HALLOWEEN EDITION🎃 – #glamiscastle , one of the most haunted houses in GB? (👻) The Grey Lady of Glamis. The ghost that haunt the castle’s clock tower corresponds to Lady Janet Douglas. She was married to the 6th Lord of Glamis and was actively involved in regional politics. She was accused of poisoning his husband, convicted of witchcraft and burned at the stake. (👻👻) The Glamis monster. This sinister story or legend dates back to 1821 about a family member, the first-born son of the 11th Earl Thomas Bowes-Lyon and his wife Charlotte Bowes-Lyon, who was never allowed out of the castle after his birth because of his appearance. The ghost haunted the family long after its death. (👻👻👻) The secret chamber. In 1486 the Ogilvy Clan sought shelter from their enemies, the Lindsay Clan. The Earl politely ushered them, then locked them to die of starvation. Unfortunately for the Ogilvys, he’d done a deal with the Lindsays. Their spirits linger in an unknown haunted chamber. Others believe that the Earl of Crawford, forever locked in a game of cards with Satan himself, sits inside the secret room. Even Sir Walter Scott knew of the existence of a secret chamber and after his overnight visit to the castle in 1790, he wrote this: “as I heard door after door shut, after my conductor had retired, I began to consider myself as too far from the living and somewhat too near to the dead”.
🆕I'll be sharing "Halloween edition" photos during these two weeks. If you are in the Halloween mood or have spooky photos, use the hashtag #theweecompasshalloween and I'll share them (+ credit)🆕
The light constantly changes in Scotland 💙 one minute the castle looked dark and moody, the next there were golden tones everywhere 🍂 now... it's time for another adventure 🚙 hope you all have an amazing weekend 💙
The beautiful Glencoe ⛰ in Scotland 🏴 It was so much fun to walk through the mountains in Scotland. We had never seen so much green in one place! We were lucky to get good weather this weekend as it allowed us to take cute pictures 📸 and explore the different locations in Scotland’s Highlands. Two days after this picture was taken, a huge storm hit Scotland and there were flash flooding signs everywhere! 🙈 Like I said - lucky 🍀! Fun fact: James Bond Sky Fall was filmed here. 🎥 Jorge was extremely excited - totally has a boy crush on this film 🎞. #scotland#glencoe#topscotlandphoto
