Not a food pic, but instead a PSA 🗑
Over the weekend I hiked through some of the most magical scenery, but it didn’t matter what trail I was on, I would find bits of trash. Even though it was not as bad as other places I have been, it was still there.
Without hesitation I picked up each piece and put into my little hiking pack to throw out when I got to a trash can. I could of easily walked past and seen it and thought, “that’s a shame, why would someone do that?” and then continued walking, but that just makes me part of the problem, so I decided to take part in the solution.
Trash is not going to leave us anytime soon, so it’s important for us to help keep the nature we love pure 🌲🍃🌻🐾 if you see some trash, pick it up.
🍂 Need a REAL taste of Fall? Check out this trail in Oak Creek Canyon that my family and I hiked this weekend. It’s an easy trail with absolutely stunning views of the canyon and fall foliage! You have to do a bit of rock hopping to cross the creek a few times, but that just adds to the fun. 🍁 Take a look at these red leaves though! Something about walking in the cool breeze with the colored leaves around you and the smell of fall in the air is just soothing for the soul!
Disclaimer: Bringing a grouchy teenager with you may detract from your enjoyment so feel free to leave them with a friend. 😬 (I wish I would have listened to my own advice.) #thingstodoinaz#azhikes#exploreaz#azrealtor#azdaytrips#familytrips#oakcreekcanyon#sedonaarizona
The sun rising over Devil’s Bridge is a sight worth setting an early alarm for. With the weather cooling down and the leaves changing color, now is the perfect time to explore any of the 300+ miles of hiking and biking paths Sedona has to offer. No matter the trail you choose, take a moment to stop and admire those priceless red rock views. 📷: @sn_dub
I just returned from an amazing 10 days exploring new places around southern Utah and northern Arizona including this secret cave. I had 2 workshops up in Monument Valley that were simply amazing due to the fun and creative participants. It was inspiring to be around them and it makes me sad that Milkyway season is ending. I’m going to try and organize 2 more workshops this month if anyone is interested in joining before the summer Milkyway disappears until March. I can’t wait to show you guys some new photos. I rented the Sony a7r4 and Sigma 14mm f/1.8 from my favorite gear rental company @lensrentals. I can’t recommend these guys enough. They treat their gear, myself, and my workshop participants with such great care that we haven’t had any issues since using them. All lenses and gear were tack sharp, clean, and shipped quickly. Use my code PARKER15 if you’d like to try them out!

Not many campsites come close to the ones at Havasupai ⛺️ Who else is going for a permit next year? I’m trying to check the confluence of the bucket list!
