An early morning venture down to the fishing harbour in Fort Kochi. Seeing deals being made for the freshest of seafood all around me I noticed these blokes chatting and chilling out while all the madness was happening.
The Batu caves are probably one of the most photographed spots in KL, but I completely get why! Last year, they controversially painted the 272 steps “magical rainbow stairs” (as Fin calls them) up to the cave’s main entrance which makes them even more photogenic than before.
Having heard horror stories about the crowds that descend on the caves, we got up super early at 6am to beat the rush. Then we realised that while the boys were sleeping, we could have a nice hot cup of tea and chat instead... so we did that, enjoyed some quiet time and left around 8am 😂
Inside the caves, Fin was thrilled to find pigeons, monkeys and a few chickens 🤷♀️ We loved the temples. And other tourists loved Fin so much they queued up for photos with him! And while he insisted on being carried all the way up the 272 stairs... at least he walked back down by himself 🙈
Do your kids still get away with being carried occasionally?
