That smile is my guiding light. My little 🐬 doing what he loves. The ocean has always been where I find my peace. My serenity. And, where I feel most alive. Love seeing that it does the same for my boy. Teach them confidence, independence and safety, so they can spread their wings and soar. ♥️🏄🏽♂️🌊 #sendmeonmyway#solosurfing#mamasjobisdone#surferboy#oneill#liquidshredder
This morning I woke up pretty sore and needed a good stretch. Lately I haven’t been planning my flows and just trust my body to tell me where it needs some love. It’s challenging but really fun to not know what I will do next and relates to my life right now of not knowing where I am going. This flow was fun and enjoyed playing around with opening my hamstrings and practicing a new inversion 🙃 find your groove today and see where you end up! 💋 #findingyourasana30#findyourgroove#sendmeonmyway#yogachallenge#hammies#may2020
Shout out to Ice Age for giving me some inspiration. Send Me On My Way by Rusted Roots, 1990.
P.S. Sorry about the lack of content lately, been super busy with work and honestly wasn't feeling super musical last week. Don't worry, there will be much more to come. Stay easy🤙🏼 #guitar#acoustic#sendmeonmyway#cover#country#iceage

Meet Simmie and the Whale 🐋 this was inspired by the song Send Me On My Way by Rusted Root and the lovely @allisoneberm and @bondita14 . Once you hear “Simmie and the Whale” you can never go back #sorrynotsorry 😉
I was honored to be selected as the @champlainedu Alumni to offer the toast to the Class of 2020 tonight. To any grads who may have missed it, my sentiments to you:
. . .
Good evening, and welcome!
First, I would like to start out by saying I hope you are all safe and healthy. What a time to be alive! 🙃
I do sympathize with you in how difficult it must be to not have fulfilled your graduation as you originally envisioned, and life in general right now is difficult, uncertain, and rather murky. However, necessity breeds creativity and challenge breeds opportunity, so if there was ever a group of people in which I could have the utmost confidence in pivoting, adapting and turning one hell of a lemon into lemonade, it would be the Champlain College class of 2020.
That is what Champlain College graduates are known for. They are leaders. They are progressive thinkers. They are Doers. They are you. I want to congratulate each of you on this incredible milestone. One that has been achieved through no shortage of blood, sweat and tears, I’m sure. You should be proud of yourselves and of your achievements, and I hope you are excited for the adventures that lay ahead.
As a fellow Champlain Graduate, and member of the Alumni Leadership Board, let me be among the first to officially welcome you to the alumni family. The Champlain College Alumni community is vast, and its members are always willing to pay it forward by sharing their experience, visiting classes, serving on the Alumni Leadership Board, making connections and professional introductions, hosting events and company visits, and so much more.
You have spent 4 years at Champlain, and I hope it was the experience of a lifetime - it certainly was for me. But, your relationship with Champlain is far from over. Your connection to Champlain is for life, and you will be supported by the community here on campus, by our global network of alumni, and by each other.
Please stay in touch, let us know how we can help, and allow us to celebrate in your successes along the way.
So finally, let us all raise a glass and officially say congratulations to the Champlain College graduating class of 2020!

After a year and a half since my Island Peak summit and hospital stint in Nepal, I’m finally ready to baby-step back out and attempt my next mountain in two days (albeit 7,000 ft less in altitude)! Regardless of what happened on my last climb, one of the things that I will always continue to paradoxically love about mountaineering is that you can’t hide from yourself. It exposes you and relentlessly tests your character. You find out a lot about yourself as a person and yet, you always, always come out better, stronger, more self-actualized.
All I need is a mountain 🏔 breeze 🌬& tall trees🌲! #sendmeonmyway ・・・
Want a natural solution to #climatechange ? Protect Earth’s ecosystems! Defend forests from logging and development and re-establish forests where man has eliminated them. We must #StopTheChop internationally and in the US. We must #Stand4Forests ・・・
