For those of you who have visited our Meridian office you've met our Head of Security, Ranger. He's going to the the vet today and is currently trying to pull the 'cute card.' Sorry little Dude, you're still going to the vet, but 10/10 for effort. #pomeranian#notthevetagain#seniordog#goodboy

1/26/2014, when my boy came into our lives. I was told Melvin was sick and maybe had a year left of life. I took him in knowing and I took it upon myself to give him the best year of his life. 6 years later, here he is. 11 years old, as healthy as ever, and living his best life traveling the world with us. He’s changed our lives and brought so much light into our world. We love you so much, my fat boy 💙

Fez (8.5 years young):
“Fezzy is a very rare full brindle Boston Terrier. This makes his coat more like a tiger vs the traditional black and white Boston, with a bit more grey in there now. As a young man, sometimes people thought he was a cat.
Fez is a devoted dog and just loves his humans. He spends his days never more then 5 feet from us and mostly as a lap warmer. Fezzy is the easiest going dog ever. I'm pretty sure he thinks he is a human, as he doesn't bark and is so well behaved.
He enjoys getting out and about on many adventures, big and small. He has visited 17 states, flown on airplanes, hiked mountains, and always enjoys going out to dinner or other city outings. If the adventure is too much, he enjoys his stroller or backpack.
Fezzy's favorite snack is cucumbers.
Fezzy has been with us since day 1, along with his biological twin sister Lucy who passed last year after fighting with glioblastoma (brain cancer). In regard to his name - no cute story. It’s a radio show. I wouldn’t say he is named after it. But we thought it was cute with the name we picked first. Lucy —- we battled around a few male names to go with hers.
But we knew it was the right choice when right after talking about it, we saw HGTV House Hunters from Fez, Morocco. That was the sign we needed to make it official.
We miss Lucy lots and Fez has really enjoyed being an only child so we wish to honor that.” @fezzyandfriends
On the left is Murray's intake photo at the local animal shelter, and on the right is Murray just a couple minutes ago - fresh from his visit with Charlene at the Clip N' Curl today. He is 14 years old and was surrendered at age 11.
Murray is on three medications, has a heart murmur, severe arthritis, bloat, cataract, and not one tooth.
Murray is also lively and playful, caring, hard-working, determined, hopeful, and started his Facebook career at age 77. Currently, over 300 mini-Murray's reside in homes across the world, and he was even back-ordered in December.
Murray is an emblem of hope. He proves that no matter what has happened in your life, you can start fresh and succeed at any age or health restriction. You can do it when you simply try and do the best you can. Murray is.
Murray's message to you is this: if you're comparing yourself to someone else and feeling 'less than,' like it is too late, or that you just have SO much to learn so why try - remember Murray's picture on the left and know that you are SO loved and that you're going to be ok. And no matter what your haircut looks like, you are still worthy of everything extraordinary life has to offer.
Murray wants to gently remind you that life isn't perfect for anybody. You're not the only one, and you're going to feel better again.
Even when it's not 'picture perfect,' you're still looking great to him, sweet friend. He is thinking of you, no matter where you are in your journey, and encouraging you never to shy away from any amount of joy in your life.
Murray is virtually reaching out his little paw, sending you all his love, and nudging you with his little wet nose saying, “Don’t you dare give up, sweet friend. You can do this, just like me!”
He can’t promise the journey will always be easy, but he can promise that you aren’t alone. #toypoodle#rescue#seniordog#seniordogsofinstagram

It’s that time of year! My niece is selling Girl Scout cookies for her troop in Chula Vista. Last year she doubled her goal. DM me if you want cookies.
It’s also tax season so keep in mind that if you buy cookies to donate, that’s a tax deductible donation.
We had a good day. I know it doesn’t look like it but it was. Heidi’s foot looked horrible this morning. I was up with her most of the night. All the dogs were restless too. We made a morning appointment to see our vet. Brought her in and sure enough, something venomous bit her or stung her. Probably a spider or a scorpion. 😭 But our girl has such a good attitude. Our vet cleaned it up, gave us a cleaning plan for the next few days plus some good antibiotics and we are at home. The wound is starting to drain a lot which is good but means lots of laundry. We’ll be in the cone full time and we have a recheck on Friday. Thanks for all the kind words and prayers for our girl. Bella even gave up the coveted under desk bed for Heidi.
