Hello! I would like to invite you to head over to @8bitmedia.sg (and follow me) where i slowly curate and update my projects and past works over the yesteryears. Some of you will be featured (and tagged) if you had been the subject of my camera before (i hope that you’re ok with it!)☺️ Up till recently i have never posted much of my works online before. My work has been mostly mysterious to many and although i do have shared some links and stories here and there, no one actually knew what i had been up to.
After much deliberation and discussion with my peers, i suppose it is time to live and let live.

For various reasons, my childhood was not the healthiest I could have had, which meant that most of the outings children could have were limited. That meant that mostly, it came down to the Science Centre and the library.
It's changed a lot since then. I got punished in a book about that, too.
And I miss a lot of what used to be... but what it's brought in... that's pretty good too. #sgphotographer #exploresg

How frequent do we hear from our muses that they are not sure if their homes are good for family shoot because of the mess.
I always tell them, it’s perfectly fine. I can handle mess, I think 🤣. And, I honestly feel that it’s more homey from the mess.
How frequent do we hear from young parents that the parenthood life is so challenging / life changing, or simply put, ‘shag’.
I fully agree. The shag look of myself when I look into mirror is not unusual. But, every now and then, the little joy and warmth from the kids of how they rely and cling on us, or how they want to play with their parents, will always make parents put away their tiredness, temporarily. 🤣
Parenthood is messy and tiring. It’s fine. Parents, you have been doing a good job. You deserve a pat on your shoulder.

Documenting childhood memories isn’t always about showing full faces. Pay attention to the lighting but importantly, the little details e.g. the scene, body language, accessories or outfits etc. These can often be the most interesting thing about the photo or that moment. Doesn’t matter if you’re shooting with a smartphone or fancy camera. Don’t rush. Be in the moment. Magic eventually happens. #jjudisunphotography

This mulled wine tea by @t2tea is loaded with spice but I like to take it up a notch by adding more spices & citrus.💛
In my last post I talked about how I discover new things every thanksgiving.
So, when I was working in Virginia, my boss invited me to spend thanksgiving with his family. Unlike last time, I was on top of my game.🤟🏼
I wore a red dress & took a shiny bag with wine that I’d handpicked for my boss. I was definitely not going empty handed or bringing my sloppy look.😎
As soon as I walked into their dining room, the aroma of spices filled the air & my eyes fell on a bowl of wine. It was warm & mulled.🍷
Not shy, I said, “I’d love a glass” when asked if I wanted some. Few glasses down, I was chatting with grandpa, the kids, their friends & even the dog.🐶
It was going really well.
As we sat around the table to eat, Grandpa pulled out a giant jar of beans & we had to guess the number of beans in it.
Repulsed by calculations, I broke out in sweat. I had an intelligent reputation in front of my boss & with my lousy guess, it’d crumble.😰
As the jar was passed around, I stayed calm secretly hoping someone would drop it so it never reaches me.🤞🏼Everyone noted their guesses on a paper & the jar finally made it to me. My head was spinning, probably from all the wine but I put forth a brave face.😬
I began counting up & down & then doing some random calculations just to look serious. Under the influence of wine, I wrote my guess on that paper.
There was complete silence as Grandpa went through the numbers. He then adjusted his spectacles & said he couldn’t believe how accurate one of the guesses was. It was just 5 off from the 800 count.😯
I almost choked when he took my name. That guess was mine. It was crazy. Hail the mulled wine!🙌🏼
Grandpa presented me a $20 prize & my boss looked at me as though I’d done him proud. His kids were not amused.
That day I walked away with my reputation intact, a happy tummy, pockets full & the discovery of a lucky charm - mulled wine.🍷
I no longer mull over my first thanksgiving. I mull wine instead or rather tea nowadays.😉
Did you discover anything new this year? Perhaps a lucky charm?💛💛
Isn’t this the cutest community center in #Singapore , because it’s all pink?
We were there on a Sunday and was surprised it was closed. Originally, we wanted to shoot inside the community center but we can’t go in. We almost gave up but I was thinking, since we already made our way here, we not just try to find an angle.
This angle turns out really well and was found by accidental! If we were not forced to find an angle since it’s closed, we wouldn’t even have spited this. So, it’s never about how good your camera is, or how perfect the environment should be for a good photo, but about how creative you are in spotting good angles. So, sometimes, try to steer away from the typical photo spot and use your eyes to spot a composition. Sometimes you really may surprise yourself. #exploresingapore#visitsingapore#whatdoyoulove#pinkstagram#travelsingapore 📷 @yuniqueyuni

Happy Sunday! It’s fun being a tourist in my own country and visiting Garden by the Bay Cloud Dome to get this shot. Thank you @yuniqueyuni for being so patience and waiting for the crowd to pass. We only have 1 second of clearance and the crowd is really nice to wait for us to finish the photo before they pass through. If everyone is as kind and willing to wait, photoshoot will be completed really fast! #visitsingapore#gbb#exploresingapore
