Inspired by the Maximalist trend, we created a vibrant and fun bedroom space, using the mustard yellow bed frame as a starting point and building up around it. Parquet flooring is also a great alternative choice to herringbone and chevron for creating interest on the floor.
Happy weekend indeed! It’s a hot one here in Austin. .
Feeling pretty inspired by all the jewel tones up and down @dressmyroom ‘s feed especially this candy striped chair with that muted teal! It reminds me of our favorite color lately (@sherwinwilliams Calico) I’ve been experimenting with some hot pink recently- and I love how this combo is working. I hope you find some beauty to celebrate this weekend!
Trevlig fredag ❣️ #peonies

rise and shine ☀️☕️
Love waking up before everyone to enjoy my clean house before I start seeing pillows and toys on the floor lol
If you’ve been following me long enough you know home decor is my passion. I also love to change things around throughout the months like a crazy lady but I take so much pride into it. This is my happy place. The only time you’ll see lots of color is for the holidays otherwise it gives me anxiety lol. No joke, just keeping it neutral makes it so cozy and zen😌. I used to take a million pictures and then I got super pregnant and the Army said we were moving, now we don’t know so I took the time to add just a very few things to my dinning room and it’s crazy to see what something so small can do to make it seem more like home (swipe over). Just a little tip, you don’t have to break the bank to add or change things in your home. A lot of my stuff i already i just move it around all the time 😅

Happy Friday! The weather has been so nice here and I’m loving it! My mental health has been struggling lately as I’m sure a lot of people can relate to in these trying times. The weather is one thing that really helps me though and I’m so happy I’ve been able to really enjoy it while I work from home. These new hand towels from @oliveandlinen also make me really happy! Have a good weekend, friends. 😊
I can’t quite believe that my plant eating ray of sunshine is turning 1 this month. This has been the fastest, wildest, most amazing year to date. I have loved nothing more than watching my two little girls form a bond like no other together 🥰 Can they just stay babies forever please 😢

Our children are the future teach them well + lead them in all the right ways ✨
As promised, here is a progress photo of our front porch renovation. Today felt like a huge win as we are done with all of the carpentry and on to paint! Hallelujah! Stay tuned there will be more to come.
I wish I was crawling into this bed right now! I have to be honest, between the virus, the protest and riots and definitely a very rocky Thursday I am ready for today to be over and put this day to rest.
Who else is looking forward to the weekend (even with a curfew) besides me?

Happy and Blessed Thursday. It’s a wet rainy day and I had to go out today to prepare for hurricane season here in Florida. 😏
So many negative and sad things are happening around us .... anxiety levels are high.
BUT when you get home and have a package from @magnolia@joannagaines it brings a smile to your face.
My first purchase was this beautiful soy candle from their signature collection and of course a mug. 😂 .
I hope this finds everyone well and healthy. These are certainly crazy times we are navigating. I hope collectively the USA finds a way forward in health, peace and love. The world needs the USA to be whole (especially its neighbour to the North). To update you on our current situation: we are, finally, again open for business - our warehouse is back open and is beginning to resume shipping.
We are getting caught up and are here to serve.
I realize it is not always possible but the best thing to do these days to stay safe, is to stay close to home.
What better way to do that than Feathering your Nest and Sheltering in Fabulous Place. We’re here to help you do just that.
Take care, and please reach out if you need anything - Daniel Penciner, Owner
Fiddle leaf trees are our favorite to add to projects! They give the room a more home-y feel, which is always our goal for your new space. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Good morning everyone! What are your plans for today? We are doing some school work and then going for a nice walk I think. The hot weather has been amazing but I must say it feels nice that the temperature has dropped a bit.

Over the past couple of days many of the design accounts that I love to follow have shared the work of black interior designers and artists and it has been so inspiring. Some of the accounts I already followed but most were new to me. So today I want to share @brigetteromanek who is an incredible designer based in Los Angeles. Her work is so dreamy- go give her a follow. And please share any BIPOC accounts that we should check out below!
Exciting day here in Ventura County with some dine-in restaurants able to reopen and stores able to see visitors again. Now I just need the hair salons to reopen.... @jenniferhawse I’m comin’ in hot girl to get my blonde back haha
We had a GORGEOUS day today and another one in the forecast tomorrow. The sunshine and warm weather is good for the soul! Love having this little wet bar here so the kids can dump their snacks / mess and wash up before coming through the house. Tap for sources and I’ll share more in my stories. Happy Thursday! ☀️ #thepetersplace
