In the midst of everything that is going on around us, we want to ask you how are YOU doing? How are you coping with the changes that are happening right here, right now? And while change can be difficult, you have a choice to step up and adapt to change.
With the coronavirus pandemic wreaking havoc, we are experiencing a shift in consciousness, awakening, change, and transformation. In this era, human activity is the dominant influence on climate, the environment, and all life on earth.
So while you’re at home flattening the curve, you have the power to make a difference and you get to decide what kind of difference you want to make.
That is why we are here--to empower you to take charge of your health because each decision you make affects your overall well being as well as the environment--even a decision as simple as staying home.

Think about what symbols you are pulled toward & attracted to. These symbols have subconscious meanings & when we meditate on them we can access their hidden knowledge. Any sacred geometry would be a good choice, like the Metatron’s Cube above. You can draw them or print them out & place them on your altar or around your home. Now is the perfect time to adorn your space with imagery you would like to find a deeper connection to! Set the intention that this societal hibernation will activate your own personal metamorphosis.

How are you keeping sane? Do you exercise at home? A home gym is easy to set up, doesn’t take up much room and the entire family will enjoy using it. I’ve been working out at home for many years now and love the short commute to my home gym. There’s no excuse for me not to exercise daily.
How are you getting your exercise?
The past few weeks we have been building our garden 😍✨🌻 I grew up with a HUGE garden in the backyard. In that garden we played together, worked together, sought a break from each other 😆.
I spent so much of my life among those plants, and I vividly remember the BUCKETS of heirloom tomatoes we would harvest and running out to clip some herbs for dinner.
I remember the pride I felt when my parents put me in charge of my own planter box and I could plant WHATEVER I wanted and I picked strawberries. I was so proud of those tiny tiny strawberries 😂
I have only the fondest, warmest, magical memories of that garden. Ours will probably never be that size but it will be ours. And I hope that Bethany grows among these leaves and someday when she is far from home she will close her eyes and remember and fell that same kind of magic.
And now I’m crying.
If this is your Quarantine yoga practice these days 😀, try something different. A free, mellow Hatha Yoga class with me today.

Thank you Derek Thielen for the reminder during your inspirational message at the YogaFaith Encouragement Summit. .
God is in control.
. “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”.
Matthew 6:26-27 . God is… In control. .
God is still on the throne.
God is Not surprised.
God is sovereign.
I hope you are staying safe and healthy. In my family, we’re starting to find our routines, getting used to revised schedules, and working together at home as we enter into our fourth week of Shelter in Place.
On a particularly windy day recently, I watched a hawk 🦅 battle against the gusting winds – because really, what else was there to do? 🤣 But in all seriousness, as I watched the bird be tossed about, I saw another bird catch a current of wind and rise effortlessly into the sky.
Which bird are you right now?
Are you fighting against the recommendations of SIP and social distancing? Are you still fully absorbed in reading or watching the news? Are you complaining about the things you’re missing and the things you want to be doing instead? Are you stuck and struggling with this new reality?
OR… are you finding fun things to do with your family in the safety of your home? Are you limiting your time on social media and finding positive news stories? Are you appreciating your health and well-being and thinking about how grateful you will be once you can do all the things you want to do when we come out of this? Are you recognizing that this is a temporary event and appreciating that we will make it through this?
I know it may feel like we’re struggling against the wind as many of us work to adjust to homeschooling📝, working from home🗂, and spending 24/7⏳ with family. If you need something, someone to talk to, or some ideas on how to change your perspective, just ask. I’m here for you.
We’re all in this together. ❤️

The marks on my face say it all. Started our shift with an intubation & ended the same way. I just finished a 5 day stretch & even though our volume is down thanks to the shelter in place the patients we are seeing are majority are covid like complaints. This stretch I've seen seemingly stable patients crash in a matter of an hour, more white out x-rays than I can count, patients with oxygen saturations of 85% leaving against medical advice to go back out into the community. It's real, it's happening, each day I feel like the number of patients, how sick they are, the preservation of PPE is getting getting cranked up a notch. Each day a little worse. I’m thankful for 7 days off coming up but acutely aware that seven days in the time of covid is basically a lifetime. .
✔️ I’m finding myself using my day planner even more because I have so much less time. And I have to be very purposeful during the limited time I’m in the office.
✔️ I love that sweats are now called joggers and are tapered at the end to be a little bit more flattering.
✔️ Robes and slippers are the perfect attire for video conferencing, or happy hour.
✔️ Sourdough starters take a lot of warmth, and patience.
✔️ Almost any subject is available on YouTube — and homeschool videos about octopus’s and squids are Rye’s favorites (after videos on Lord of the Rings lore).
✔️ When you have enough masa you can pretty much eat any ethnicity of food in taco form.
✔️ I have never been more proud to live in the Bay Area (the first to put in the official shelter in place order.. also: ❤️ to Seattle).
✔️ I’ve been working from home off and on for 11 years, but I’ve gone from wearing jeans twice a week to 0 times a week.
✔️ We should have bought more stock in Dry Shampoo before all of of this. Granted, I go through a bottle every other week. The only make up I wear is my eyebrow pencil. So I’m definitely saving money on make up, and regular shampoo.
✔️ Our 17-year-old dog had to be put on anti-anxiety medication because she dislikes the four-year-old being home even more than my husband and I do. ❤️
✔️ Everyone deals with the enormity, and the grief of all of this differently. Even the people that you may consider “strong” are just barely hanging on — and that’s OK.
