The two year anniversary is approaching. Unfortunately, prosecution of Dawn Swick is not going to happen. No amount of finger pointing or speculation as to what went wrong will bring Dawn in front of a judge and jury, so we are going to skip that part. While it is horrific that she will not face the criminal justice system for her crimes, it is important to remember that the dogs are out of that hell. Many have survived and thrived. Many will always carry the scars of their time in that unimaginable house, but they are loved and cared for in spite of their shortcomings. We thank everyone who fought for the dogs. We thank everyone who supported the dogs in their journey to freedom and health. We thank the rescues who gave the care and kindness to the dogs to ready them for adoption. We thank all the owners who made a place in their homes and their hearts for these dogs, no matter how damaged they were.
The work isn't done even though this will not see the inside of a courtroom. We are working on compiling a report and will post a synopsis of our two year fight, the little history we know that lead up to this, and some suggestions for ways to avoid repeating this terrifying situation.
There are pictures of some of the survivors attached to this post. If anyone has any information on other Shiloh 20 dogs out there, we would love to see pictures of them in their new homes.
Pictured are Sid, Aries, Finn, Keeva, Kelliann, Mr. Rio, Zuzu and Tyler.

We had class today with my brother @fiery_fiddle_sticks!! Both of us were so excited we could hardly contain ourselves! Well....I did, Zephyr didn't haha! But that's okay! We both got tired af and did really well in class! We also played with a beautiful great dane puppy girl and mom caught me trying to get a little frisky! She was suuuuper cute though!
We worked on loose leash walking around objects for some hind end awareness, heeling, wait/stay in sit and down, focus, and acclimation to the store! Plus some playtime!
#ThrowbackThursday to when you were 3 months old and we traveled up to see your grandparents on Labor Day! Guess what bud, we're going to do it again this weekend and week coming up! We get a whole week with the family this time! I know they've got some goodies lined up for you too! I cant wait to take that comparison picture with my mom and you!
I'll try not to spam this account but I do have a ton of art to upload! A lot from my college days and recently!
So along with character art, portraits, still lifes, and abstract, I do pet portraits too! This was just the start of a piece I was doing for fun while I waited. It was a bit of practice and stress relief! Not sure if it will be completed or when, but I'll probably pull it out sporadically.
Not the most Christmas-y of photos but lovely all the same! Echo and I went out walking last night in a town center! I was hoping it would be decorated more and with more people but it wasn't. It turned out okay though because I still answered questions about him often and it was good walking practice. He was pretty tired after it!
From our adventure to Bass Pro Shop! Echo was stressy and to me, it's rather evident in this photo. He looks tense. But he did really well overall! We may visit a few more times this week to check out different spots and aisles and load it up with treats! He wasnt stressed the whole time so that was good, I'm not going to throw him into the deep end haha. He rolled over a few times for belly rubs for strangers, he loves kids so he was in his glory then!
Very proud of this 6 month old baby! Now that hes not contagious, we can work outside of the house again yay!
The good thing about @dogonthemoon collars is they make my mane look hella good!
Merry christmas and happy holidays from us! We visited Bass Pro Shop to check it out and practice! Today was the first day we used the halti and theres an adjustment period but when we walked, mom said I did amazing! I still wasnt a huge fan but the fact I was taking treats still and being overall a good boy, made her happy!
Went to a park this morning, mom didnt realize how wet it was even up on the hill. I found A PUDDLE. I've never played in a puddle like this before, just in the ocean with my cousin. This was so much fun!! Swipe right to see silly puppy antics!
