Several years ago, we changed our lives by adding to it, bringing home our first dog in our cat dictatorship. We choose a very quiet, gentle husky which we named Mystique. She was everything we expected, quiet, gentle, sweet and pretty, but she was also already pretty old.
About a year later, we decided to find her a mate, so she could enjoy the company of a fellow husky. This time, we choose an adolescent husky with grey wolf colors and piercing blue eyes, we named him Logan.
As he was young, and she getting up in years, this was not the match made in heaven we had hoped for. Logan is young, full of energy and stupidity in equal measure. But he loves the companionship, always wanting to play from morning to nightfall, and thru the night as well, his energy knows no bounds. But Mystique is too old, and having developed hip pain, she wants a quiet gentle life. Not the kind Logan offers.
To her relief, a new addition arrived at our gate, just about two weeks ago. A beautiful black puppy with the colors and features of a mixed Doberman. She is exactly what the doctor ordered, giving Logan a playmate, while giving Mystique the relief she requires.
My #family got a good #laugh watching me jump into the #garden to get my #toy . This is why they have to rebuild the garden before putting plants back in it lol. They don’t normally encourage me to go in, but I hop so #cute !!!
