One of the beats featured in my last post.
Wanted something that was Rnb but still had something quirky & modern to it.
Even thought it was inspired by Solange, cant honestly say that it sounds like one of her
type of beats. At least not completely. But i'll get there on future attempts at those style of tracks
More importantly its not the same loop with hard drums style track a lot of producers are stuck on right now. Really trying experiment more and make stuff that is as far as i can get it from "cookie cutter"

Any day is a good day to be in love but there’s something about Friday… 😍 🎶 “Friday I’m in Love” was originally recorded by the Cure on their 1992 album, “Wish.” Robert Smith, the band’s frontman was the primary songwriter and according to an interview in Rolling Stone, he couldn’t shake the feeling that he had borrowed the melody from another song. Only after he sent the song to numerous people was he reassured that the melody was his own. 🎶
As a songwriter📝, I’ve always thought that a familiar melody, without being able to put your finger on why it sounds like you’ve heard it before🤔, is a good sign. To me, it signifies that the writer has struck a good balance between originality and incorporating the influence of other writers.⚖️ 🎶
Other recordings of the song include Scala & Kolacny Brothers' version (if you don’t know them, I strongly urge you to look them up on YouTube. They are 🔥💯‼️), as well as Natalie Imbruglia's (slightly controversial😬) bluegrassy version on her 2015 album, “Male.” 🎶
While the original version finishes on a slightly unresolved note, I hope the Cure will forgive my bossa-influenced utilization of an Emaj7 9 chord. 😌

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it.
