It’s my Shanghaiversary! 11 years ago today I moved from Chengdu to Shanghai. And after all this time, the city still takes my breath away. Forever friendships. A husband. Professional pursuits. Two daughters. Lifelong memories. Endless adventures. I never expected to live here this long but when you’ve got a good thing going, why end it? Thank you, Shanghai, for this life! I ❤️ you infinity! #shanghai#shanghaiversary#skyline 📷: Jose Udaondo
I'm out here taking to the oversized hot wheel tracks, getting some practice runs in on the Skyline to get ready for a Sunnday showdown where I'll defend my crown at @smittys_speed_shop raceway. Really nailing down these drifts. Livery isn't 100% but I tried.
How many times have we all thought, “Ah! Good old days.”/ “I miss those days.”/ “Wish I could go back.” Etc.
Guilts and remorse coming back.
Just because we didn’t do something right or may be because we wanted to re-live all those moments?
Recently, I’ve been thinking about it too.
A life without Corona, a life before it all happened.
That carefree life, where we could just get out without the mask, without all this precautions and tensions.
Without the constant fear of losing one of our loved ones, to this deadly virus.
Ah! Simpler days.
Wish I could go back.
But that made me realize that, good things don’t last for long. You must’ve heard that too yeh?
And I just couldn’t help but think, what if those were the good days and we are never gonna get it back?!
Like the rest of our days are gonna be this way.
Do you think like that too?! Or is it just me?
But if you think that way, I have a good news for you.
Remember how I told, good things don’t last for long?
But that’s not just for good things alone.
It’s very much applicable for bad things too.
Good and bad things don’t last for long.
Nothing lasts for long.
So, let’s not worry too much, as everything shall pass.
And these tension filled days.
It will all surely come to an end.
But till then, all we got to do is wait and hope those days aren’t too far. #juwrites_
