Every thing is pink.
Or at least it seemed to me like this yesterday. It popped up in front of me, everywhere I looked. So many pink clothes, shoes, bags, flowers ,on TV,on IG.And all that just because I was thinking of pink in the morning! Imagine how wonderful life could be, if I train myself to see only the good things in life .The power of intention.😀😉
So,some pink for you too- beautiful oleander in bloom on the rooftop terrace and some peonies (faux),found in the office. #30dayhomelove#smallmomentsofcalm#slowliving#simplepleasuresoflife

Хоть я и живу в очень неспокойном районе, где, как сегодня ночью, происходит какой-то экшн в духе Роберта Родригеса - с таким другом и защитником не пропаду 🐾🐾🐾
Bird species can be classified in terms of their presence at a particular place, at a particular time, as being migrant, vagrant or resident.
A migrant, or migratory species travels from some part of the world to spend time in another part of the world, usually on a regular seasonal basis. Examples in our area include the Spangled Drongo, and most of the Cuckoo species. Down on the coast it includes most of the wader/shore bird species, many of which migrate from places like Siberia for our summer.
A vagrant is one that may turn up at a location where it would not normally be seen in any season. Unfortunately, it often means that it is a migratory species (heading somewhere else) that has become lost or blown off-course in a storm.
A recent example of a vagrant is a Kentish Plover that has been seen (by numerous birders now) on a sandbar in the Noosa River. It is my understanding that this is only the second ever confirmed sighting of a Kentish Plover in Australia.
A resident species is one that is present in an area all year round. These will be the native birds that we see frequently, and often take for granted, regardless of the fact that they are often unique and beautiful. In our area resident species include Rosellas, Lorikeets, Cockatoos, Butcherbirds, Fairywrens, Bowerbirds, and many more.
Another group of birds are the non-native or introduced species. These species don’t occur here naturally, but were introduced, either intentionally or accidentally, and have become established as resident breeding populations.
Some of the introduced species that we see on the range include Spotted Dove, House Sparrow, Common Starling, Nutmeg Mannikin and Common (aka Indian) Myna (not to be confused with the native Noisy Miner). Introduced species that have become established in other parts of Australia include the Common Blackbird, European Goldfinch and European Greenfinch.

#somethinggood after spending a good portion of the day feeling unsettled, I was able to shake it off enough to feel calm and content at work tonight. Just goes to show that not every day will be great or even good, but if we can change our perspective and instead find some small moments of good we might just be a littler happier.

🚨 BRAND NEW brunch café alert! 🚨
as someone who wakes early only for capitalist drudgery, brunch is not so much an option as a necessity. 😴 how glad am i to celebrate stirring later with fried potatoes and burgers for breakfast! 🙌🏻 even better that it was most recently at the very new (as in, opened a few days ago) @juneberrywpg!
juneberry, in its infancy, was suggested to me well before covid-19 closures—so it has been a long time coming! i celebrated this first meeting with their braised beef short rib grilled cheese, eggplant katsu burger, and fried baby potatoes. 🥳
the grilled cheese had been reposted to their story during their soft open and i knew it was a must-order. gooey, greasy, and made even better by a rich layer of beef. 🐄 despite being unabashedly a carnivore (ask any coal and canary employee: I HATE SALAD 🌱🚫) i am completely and utterly taken aback by the eggplant katsu burger! this is a formidable meat substitute. though not explicit on the menu details, the eggplant has a distinct savoury flavor—almost pickled, in a way—that makes it delicious even without the katsu sauce. 🍆 (or when the fried bits fall off because this girl with lipstick does not bite into much!🍴)
the fried potatoes are something special. and this is coming from someone dedicated to another brunch spot's rival side dish! they are more akin to thanksgiving roasted baby potatoes tossed with pickled onions; i cannot overstate how good they are. maybe order two plates? 🥔
if you are a fellow camera wielding foodie, you will appreciate its clear lighting and available patio space. 📸 i wanted to take better interior shots but they are diligently following social distancing orders and are packed to the brim! speaking of which.. CALL AHEAD. we were estimated 40 minutes to an hour of waiting and this ended up being spot on. ⏱
a special shoutout to our server, larissa! she was extra delightful and brought me a lot of laughter. good food is made better by good people! 😊 be one of the lovely folks who stops by next!

Luckily so far, all orders needed for specific dates have been delivered on time, with a lot of hustle on my end!
USPS is still having random delays in shipments. Please know that I keep an eye on all of my orders to ensure the tracking is moving along, especially if you need your order by a specific date!
About half of my orders are getting scanned in in real time, and the other half are dropped off on post office after hours, depending on my schedule and how many orders I can finish every day. I am shipping orders EVERY DAY, and have been for over a month now! If I drop off your package in the Mailbox on a Sunday or weekday evening, I have to rely on USPS to do their part and scan in the package and move it along. Again, USPS is still having some delays and staffing shortages, so if I dropped off you package after hours, it *may* take a couple of days to get scanned in by the post office. That is “normal” for the time we are in (or for my post office, from what I’ve noticed). I am trying my best to get all packages needed for specific dates scanned in in real time so that they move along a little faster ☺️ So that’s just a little update on shipping from me! Thank you guys for your support! Thank you for supporting small business and thank you for spending your hard earned money on my art 👩🏽🎨👩🏽🎨👩🏽🎨👩🏽🎨

Monday’s Reflection: “And did you get what you wanted from this life, even so?
And what did you want
To call myself beloved, to feel myself
beloved on the earth.”

Last night’s sunset came softly in shades of pink. And I thought about how I’ve viewed sunsets as a time of goodbye. But last night? It spoke to me of quiet things — the questions we hold deep in our hearts, the stirring of hope, the promise of new beginnings. Last night I reflected on what I’ve wanted from my life. And a sense of something as soft and gentle as that expanse of sky whispered back to me. Wisps of feelings rather than words. Last night I learned that sunsets can be a time of listening for answers.
Ostatni miesiąc w Polsce spędziłam dosyć intensywnie. Odwiedziłam Kraków, Warszawę, okolice Czorsztyna. Grillowaliśmy niezliczoną ilość razy, budowaliśmy tamę na rzece, sprzątaliśmy busa, odnawialiśmy bagażnik rowerowy. Tak naprawdę w domu spędziłam może tydzień.
