Snorkeling and diving has given me the opportunity to see so much more than I otherwise would have in college. Though coral reefs may be the most impressive ecosystems to see while snorkeling, freshwater streams and the Pacific waters are much less portrayed in media and are therefore more interesting to see in person.
Take me back! On our last day we did a Jeep tour of Gozo and boat trip around Comino, looking into natural caves, pirate hideouts and had a swim in the Blue Lagoon. It was bliss.
The last picture is a cave in the Crystal Lagoon and that is actually what colour the water was! #nofilter#comino#gozo#malta#bluelagoon#snorkel#holibobs#bliss
Watery Weekend Vibes. .
Some stills pulled from the video from this weekend's adventure. Probably the best vis I've ever seen out there as you could see the boat clear as day from 70ft. The fishing did not go as planned but any opportunity to get offshore and witness views like this is always a privilege.
Shoot me a comment if you’d be down to travel to Nusa Lembongan off of Bali this August for a 6 day Ashtanga immersion and do cool things like jump off of cliffs and snorkel with Manta Rays!! I’m setting it up, and I couldn’t be more excited 😊. Who’s in!?
Life has a funny way of placing you where you were meant to be. It is constantly moving you into the path that was meant for you even if you don’t know what you are meant to be doing. When I was a small child I often envisioned myself with dolphins and marine life. My heart was always set on it. When I didn’t pursue marine biology I figured eventually I’ll go back to school and figure out how to work in the ocean. I took a long way around to get there but my heart is content knowing that I’m right where I was meant to be. I know most people can relate when I say I have always disliked hearing the sound of my own voice. We’ll now you can listen to me talk a little bit about what I do and why. Hopefully you enjoy my voice more than I do. 😂☺️ Thanks @karimiliya for the bts video. 💕 The other shark video I captured during our time in Moorea. 💗

We cant get enough of baby humpbacks. This year there have been many playful baby humpbacks, however many of which have been with an escort who isn’t as interested in engaging and guides the baby away from interacting as closely with us. One day last week we were able to spend a long time watching this little one come right up to us as mom rested below. Even when it was time to breath, the mother came right next to us and hardly moved before sinking just below the surface to hang out with us too. 📷 @_charyse
