As Colin and I were trying to take some images in this little pool, Navy kept falling into it. She would get so excited and forget there was a hole in the ground and fall right in. She did this over and over, if you zoom in you can see her soaked facial expression 🤣
When I got my pine tree tattoo, I posted a picture with the caption “the trees know you can be still and grow at the same time.”
This summer would’ve been my 13th and final summer spent living, playing, and working at Red Pine (for the foreseeable future). When the pandemic showed no signs of easing up, I was heartbroken to know this summer wouldn’t be how I envisioned it.
“The trees know you can be still and grow at the same time.” I think that quote perfectly encapsulates my summer 2020. In this season of stillness - #saferathome and #socialdistancing - I’ve experienced growth beyond measure. I made my first house a home, I adopted the best cat in the world, I fell more in love with #madisonwi , I discovered my passion for biking, and I cultivated friendships and started relationships while learning more about myself, my potential, and my purpose.
This summer didn’t go as planned; it ended up being better than I could have ever imagined 🌲
