WHAT IS YOUR IDEAL CLIENT INTERESTED IN?
When thinking of what to include in your email newsletters, think about what your ideal client wants you to tell them.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆’𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄?

If your ideal client is a little like you, share something you are interested in…a hobby, a sport you play, something you are learning, etc. The benefits here are two-fold…you are sharing part of your personality and you can provide value!

Self-care means taking care of yourself mentally and physically.
You always need to take care of your health, drink enough water, exercise, and getting enough sleep. But self-care is not the same as PAMPERING.
You need to make time to pamper yourself! I feel like “pamper” isn’t the best word though. It reminds me of diapers. But “indulge” doesn’t quite fit either.

How can I help you streamline your email and social media tasks?
WHAT VALUE DO YOU OFFER?
One of the biggest reasons entrepreneurs don’t use their email newsletter is because they don’t know what to write.
You don’t want to strictly send promotional emails. You need to provide useful content to your ideal client, as well as show a little bit of your personality. Show your subscribers why they should be working with you.

Thanks for sharing your powerful experience transforming pain to purpose Max.
Life will always be challenging, but it’s the contrast we experience that allows us to evolve, to transcend the ordinary and become extraordinary.
The Pain to Purpose series showcases incredible stories from people just like you, overcoming adversity to triumph. And as you’ll see, it doesn’t matter who you are, where you came from or what you do, at the end of the day, we are ALL human, we ALL experience pain and have the opportunity to transform it into purpose.
REWARD YOURSELF AT THE END OF EACH DAY
Working from home is hard. Being disciplined enough to ignore the dirty dishes, Netflix, or a gorgeous sunny day is not easy!
Make sure you treat yourself at the end of each day for a job well done. Maybe it’s a walk with your dog, a leisurely phone call with your BFF, or a perfect cup of tea. It’s up to you. But find something to reward yourself. Plus, this gives you something to look forward to and it’s a positive item to add to your to-do list!

💕When you fill your mind with positive thoughts your life will start to change.
Do you agree?
I’m not naive, I know that thinking positive won’t cure my MS or magically fix anything.
But you know what? Re-framing my thoughts, especially how I talk to myself, has made a positive impact in my life and my attitude. Crazy how that works, huh?! Even on my toughest days/moments, I think of something that makes me smile and life seems a little bit better 🥰

Now this little pup has no anxiety issues whatsoever. 🐶He’s a confident dog – he knows that no matter what comes his way, he has a mom and a dad that have his back and he’ll figure it out.
I think this is something we all forget from time to time –
that no matter what happens, we’ll figure it out, because that’s what we do. From the beginning of time, we’ve evolved to see problems and find solutions.
If you think back on your life to the worst times – you got through it. You’ve got scars, but you’re still here. You didn’t know how you’d get through it, but you figured it out. 🤷🏻♀️
There’s an enormous power in acknowledging your own strengths and abilities. Because when you believe in yourself truly, that no matter what comes your way you’ll figure it out – it covers you like a blanket and comforts you. And fear fades away.
💙PS. It’ll come back, but keep this tool in mind, it’s a
great rescue tip for anxiety.
if only it were as easy as sunshiney yellow tees with rainbows, amiright? It's something I'm no stranger to, with many loved ones with daily struggles. I'm thankful for friends who are bold enough to speak up about mental illness. Happy mind, happy life is not easy for so many people--- and I think if we're all really honest, we can all see times in our lives where it just feels.... not. For me, I'm learning to be more intentional about prioritizing the things that help me keep my mind in an open, loving place --- jumping rope and getting fresh air, admitting when I'm just having a down day and need to talk to a friend, and listening to music that helps center me are all things I lean into. Don't be afraid to reach out to a friend, share that you need some help, or acknowledge that "happy mind, happy life" sometimes feels unattainable. There are people who care. There are people who love. There are people who understand and want to help you see the sunshine again-- but are happy to dance in the rain with you, too. --- Liv Tees, like this happy mind print, have been restocked at ShopLaurenBurgess.com --- #laurenslula#lularoe#lularoeliv#mentalhealth#mentalhealthawareness#ootd#wiw#happymind#happylife#rainbow#happyday#theelitesuite#empowersocial#socialstrategysquad
We all know we need them, but they seem SO ELUSIVE. They’re hard to set and hard to maintain. ⛏Without them, we’re overworked, overwhelmed, and cranky.
They’re the emotional equivalent to starting a workout regimen. I’m always so happy when I set them, but actually prioritizing them and setting them is really fucking hard.
Delia and I were just talking about this on the Real Life.
Real Talk. Segment of her podcast @girls4greatness . We covered:
💙The emotional injury and stress response that setting
boundaries creates, and how to manage it
💚Our addiction to cell phones and how we can put our needs first by putting it DOWN
💙Why it’s hard to KEEP boundaries once you set them

In 2017 I finally stopped saying I’m not a planner girl and
realized if I wanted to live a life that I wasn’t constantly overwhelmed, it was time to become one.
Electronic. Paper. 📝Didn’t matter. I needed a life organization system.
I’ve been using Erin Condren planners for years, and they
are AMAZING! I would keep using them except now, after 2 years, I realize I need something more from my planner.
I don’t just need to have something that catalogues my time and activities.
I need a tool that will help me to understand how long things take, when I am overloading myself, and what it means to run a mindful business, but without 40000 things to fill in each day. 🤦🏻♀️
I couldn’t find one.
So I decided to make one.
I was inspired by Lynn Shriener who created her entire
planner from scratch using Chic Sparrow. 😍So far my planner is a bunch of papers as I workshop it, but already I can see its made a HUGE difference to my psyche.
➡️Try lots of systems, one of them will work for you, and it doesn’t have to look like anyone elses.⬅️ . #socialstrategysquad#organization#businesssystems#buildalife#dowhatworksforyou#mindfulliving#tuesdaytips#transformationtuesday#smallbusinessowner#solopreneurlife#mindfulnesspractice#businesstools#worksmarter#organizedlife#plannerinspiration#planneraddicts

It was my wedding anniversary yesterday - 18 years 😱. We celebrated with a delicious dinner delivered by local business @hibiscusfood on Sat night. And I gave my husband the yummiest biscuits ever from @teacupsandtandems (who helped me out last minute - huge thanks 🙏). We looked through all our wedding pics and reminisced. 😍. There was no Facebook or Instagram in 2004. We think this was probably a blessing (no horrendous pics living forever online) but it does mean waaay less pics of the big day. No user-generated content!

When you’re looking for ways to make big changes to your business, look for the small changes you can make in your day to day life.
Too often we try to treat the symptoms of the problems in
our business instead of focusing on the root causes of the issue.
The reason you don’t have enough time isn’t that you have
too much work, its that the infrastructure you’ve set up for your business is designed to keep you consistently behind the 8 ball. 🤦🏻♀️Things like
➡️Keeping phone notifications on
➡️Not having set times for social media use
➡️Being in too many groups
➡️Saying yes to everything
Together these issues are sucking out 40% of your
productivity and adding hours to your work day ⏰ (way many more hours than you think).
How do you feel about the idea of making a change to any one of these things?
"Lizzie McGuire, you are an oufit repeater!" -- I know, I know. But did I FaceTime anyone today? Have a Zoom meeting to log into? Join friends on HouseParty? Big fat nope to all of that, so probably wearing the same thing tomorrow😂😂 Anyone else a chronic outfit repeater?
Two bags just full of packages headed to new homes. Thankful doesn't begin to cover it. Supporting a small business -- through purchases, reviews, referrals, engaging with online content -- means the world to a family -- our family. It may feel insignificant and small to you, but to us it means the world.
Have you set office hours for your business?
Especially with everything going on in the world right now, it's important to give ourselves downtime!

For years I believed that I had more value the more I produced.
So, for me to have enough value to justify taking up space on this earth, I needed to continue to produce and work. I reasoned that there was some sort of marker in my brain that would light up when I had worked enough to feel like I deserved to live.
Sounds dramatic right?
I’ve always been prone to melodrama. But that doesn’t make it any less true. Right now millions of women are right there where I was. Working day in and day out, hour after hour, to feel better about themselves.
You forget to eat. You forget to pee. You have trouble sleeping. You’re irritable. You wish it wasn’t so hard. You wonder if it will 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 be this way. 🤷♀️
And then you wake up and do the same thing over and over again.
We accept this as truth. That this is the way the world is, and we just live in it.
A few years ago I started to wake up to a new idea. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘀𝗵𝗶𝘁. And that we have value innately in who we are. By rejecting our value, and hinging it on our productivity, we eat away at that which makes us special, unique, and important.
That’s when we wake up and realize we have no idea who we are anymore. And we aren’t sure where to find it. My friend Katie Guenther recommended this book to me, I wish I had this book 5 years ago when I started on this journey.📘 It would have saved me years of self-doubt and depression.

we're first time gardeners. It's going like, decently well. many of my seedlings I started indoors did not like it when I put them outside. but we have cucumber seedlings that we started outside growing! (You can check our plant seedlings out in our story) I'm starting to wonder if the biggest lesson I'm going to find in this grand gardening adventure is that life needs more than just sunshine. I thrive on physically sunshine-y, warm days. I don't enjoy rainy evenings or thunderstorms, but last night I found myself rejoicing at the forecasted overnight showers. It's funny your perspective can change.
Time blocking is my favorite way to stay organized, on task, and feel accomplished.

💦Before diving into creating your content strategy you need to get clear on WHY you want your business to be present on social media in the first place.
Here are some key questions to ask yourself and get clear on before you create your content strategy:
🔒What's the purpose of your digital presence? Is it to raise awareness for a cause? To gain new leads? To share editorial content?
🔒What do you want to see in return? How many sales per service or product per month? How many newsletter signups? How much of an increase in website traffic?
🔒What is your budget? How much time and money are you able to invest in your content strategy?
🔒Which platforms are your audience on? (*Go there*)
🔒What has worked well for you so far? How can you use insights you already have to improve your next strategy?
🔒What software is available for creating, scheduling, and analysing your content? Which is the best fit for you?
💦Clear on all of these points? Wunderbar - you are ready to start building a content strategy that will work towards your business goals 👏
Sidenote - anyone else keep fantasising about jumping into the sea and how good that will b e 😇?
While staying safe at home, I've adopted (or re-adopted) some calming and grounding habits.

A Sunday well spent brings a week of content, isn't that what they say?? Ending our Sunday the only way we know how-- snacks and board games. We took a sourdough bread bowl from our favorite @stickboybreadfv and made a somewhat french onion pull-apart bread to snack on with today's edition of Tapestry. It's Harrison's favorite game and it pretty much stays set up on our dining room table for us to play frequently. What's your favorite board game to play?
I am so touched by what my amazing sister @sairavalley said today that I had to share.
💙💙💙 “Minessa has been a different person of late. So much happier than I’ve ever seen her.
And it reminded me of something. When we are faced with massive change in life it can be crippling. Scary and paralyzing. But change even when it’s hard is just another step towards another awesome moment. Another awesome experience.
Don’t be scared when life invites you to a new path. More often than not something fantastic can come from it.
A half shaved head. Blue hair. Tattoos. Happiness. Freedom.
Amen to that”. .
This was one of my favorite moments of 2019.
The kids and I visited my hometown and stopped by my great-grandmother's old house. We even found my dad's handprint on the sidewalk from when he was 4 years old!
💙 Have you visited your childhood home?
