There's still so much of the world I'm still to discover but for now I'm taking a break from travel to get some things in order 🧘♀️
So in the meantime can I live vicariously through you? Tell me all about where you are off to next?
Tokyo Tower has perhaps become a symbol of Tokyo.🗼It is the world's tallest, self-supported steel tower. Sure, you can admire it from afar but you can also reach its main deck via an elevator or a staircase. 🌆
Thank you to whoever changed the closing date of the Peyto Lake few days before I’m in Canada. 😭💕 I almost missed my chance to witness this beauty. And yes!, It does look like a fox 🦊

Most people assume Steve and I met in either Australia or England. Truth is, we met in India! This photo was taken a day after we got together on a trek in the Himalayas, 8 years ago today. It’s kinda mad when I look at this because it sort of looks like we’d been together a long time already. We always feel like we’ve had two lives, one before each other and one together. In the last eight years, we’ve been apart twice - recently when I went back to England and a few years ago when I went back there again. Otherwise, we’ve spent ever single day together. I’m so glad he still makes me laugh everyday and lucky to think I’ve not only found someone I had no idea I could truly love but someone who has become my best friend. There are times we could kill each other and things that will always annoy us about each other, but otherwise, I think we’ve done a pretty good job so far. Somehow he thought he’d settle with and English girl and I always thought I’d settle with an Aussie. And here you go. It actually happened ❤️ So we’re spending our anniversary down in Sydney for a few days and then off to my final city in Australia I’ve not actually been to yet. We’re off to Canberra to see what Floriade is all about! Cannot wait! More about how we met in our stories and we’ll show you what we get up to over the next few days!

🦌 I just can’t resist driving away from this beautiful road without taking a photo of it. Even though you’re going to see this everywhere you go in Banff National Park 🌲 #photobyiphone#banffcanada#beautifulroad

*FYI. I went there in the evening before the sunset. Totally recommend going in the evening if you want to avoid the crowds and taking the shuttle bus. Lots of empty parking spaces.
Exploring the famous antelope canyon in Arizona has been on my bucket list for years and it didn’t disappoint. Although there was a huge conga line of people walking through it, we got pockets of the experience to ourselves. It’s one of those things that regardless of how many people were there, it didn’t spoil it for us because it really is just jaw dropping to see it in person. I

SAFETY FIRST || While staying in San Miguel, I booked a room in the most gorgeous home. It was bright and airy and colorful and full of plants. My local host would even make me Huevos Rancheros for breakfast. On my third night, I realized that the back door wouldn’t shut. As I tried to shut it, I realized it wouldn’t lock. This left me feeling unsettled. I wouldn’t sleep in my own apartment/hometown with the door unlocked let alone a strangers home. I’ve stayed in open air treehouses in the middle of the jungle with no problem but this had me on edge. I tried my best to ride it out BUT my stomach was bubbling over with anxiety. In the middle of the night, I notified my host and she was extremely apologetic. She was kind enough to let me stay in her downstairs room, which had its own external lock. Even still, I decided to move to a more secure location the following night. This meant that I paid double, but it was worth the peace of mind as a solo traveler. I was sad to go, but I know that my safety is a priority.
This is a friendly reminder to trust your gut. Listen to your instincts. Leave any situation that makes you feel uncomfortable. Pay for the Uber/taxi instead of walking alone at night. Your safety is worth more than a few dollars. And when it comes to speaking up for yourself, remember that staying safe is more important than being ‘nice’.
What’s your biggest safety tip while traveling? Please share below as it may be something that others have never considered!
One of the things you’ll notice here, is Morocco’s unique doors. Big, colorful, historical and decorated doors are everywhere you go. I loved this bright-green door with the white contrasting wall in #asilah absolutely beautiful! 😻🇲🇦

Had to pass by #chefchaouen on my to Tangier. This blue pearl is located in Rif mountains of northwest Morocco. It’s blue-washed, calm, and very artistic. This place is definitely one of the highlights of the trip so far! 😻💕
