I look sooooooo good!!! So much excitement for a bib pic. May be one of the highlights of this race. Seriously feelin' some good vibes here. 💙🖤💙🖤
Thanks @howiesternphoto for the sweet pics! (After my pic, he said, "best picture of the day"...and I would have to agree. 😉)
» #PercivalEverett#toutcebleu#somuchblue#actessud@actessud

Now that inktober is over, I can get back to sharing some of the commissions I’d done over the last couple months! I’m excited to share this one and it’s progress shots 😍 so I’m going to start off with this glorious blue eye! This is going to be a rag doll kitty on and A3 and as you can tell, is done with my colour pencils, both @fabercastellglobal and @derwentartofficial
I’ll be honest, I struggled to get my head around the concept of these beautiful eyes- they’re the main focus on this sweet kitty and I wanted to get them right but none of my blues were quite bright enough to start with!
The little one wasn't really enjoying the boat ride and the hot weather, lol. But it was certainly a really nice view. @ Cabo San Lucas.

Yesterday was my last full day at work. I spent most of the day working outside in shorts and t-shirt as it was 22 degrees and sunny all day (I will never be able to do an office job again!). As I was working I was listening to an interview with the fascinating Dan Buettner (author of the Blue Zone series of books) talking about how living in a sunny climate can make you 5% happier. This is also true of living near water or mountains. This seems like a pretty spot on explanation of why I am so in love with the Cote d'Azur and have been since my first visit here in February. The weather is amazing, the beaches are beautiful and the sea shimmers with every shade of blue you can imagine. It also explains why I feel a little sad to be heading back to the UK!
However, I am very much looking forward to enjoying the other elements required for a happy and prosperous life; the people we love, our tribes or as they are known in the Blue Zones, Moais. I've talked before on my blog about how being away from home is, and probably always will be, the most difficult part of living overseas for me. I'm currently working on how I can combine my love of living in the South of France with my love for being in the UK with my tribe.
Inktober day 28 - Ninurta. Ninurta, or Ningirsu, is a warrior god who is sometimes winged, and usually accompanied by his bow and magical, talking mace called Sharur. One day, the mighty and monstrous bird Anzu, who was tasked with protecting Enlil's domain, grows ambitious and steals the Tablets of Destiny to rule over all that exists, thus enraging and disabling the gods at the same time. They turn to Ninurta, Enlil's son. A great struggle against an omnipotent being who can undo all of his weapons follows. At last Ninurta calls in the aid of the south wind to rip off Anzu's wings, slashes its throat and successfully recovers the Tablets. The constellation of Sagittarius and the star Sirius are linked with his name. #inktober#inktober2019#inktober19#inktoberday28#drawing#art#inkwash#blue#somuchblue#galaxy#mythology#constellations#sagittarius#babylon
Y’all wanted to see my shitty spider son, so take him.
So peacock spiders exist and they’re pretty as heck. Still don’t want them anywhere near me though.
His ‘unique’ ability is seducing his enemies, that’s right, he’s gunna fuck your mum.
SMASH LIKE IF YOU WANT HIM TO FUCK YOUR MUM
