The seafood room was my first stop - a good range of fresh seafood including Canadian lobsters, French oysters, mussels and crabs. The room was also filled with a variety of antipasto, sashimi and cured seafood.
Next, live cooking stations - a noodle station where you can pick your favorite type of noodles (thick bee hoon, vermicelli, egg noodles, yellow noodles) and different types of vegetables to immerse in curry laksa or chicken soup. Personally I love the rich and flavorful curry laksa.
For a limited two-week period, the buffet offers a live curry station, instead of its usual pizza station, where you choose your ingredients and the chef will mix them with curry. I curated a curry fish but it was a tad briny so it’s better to match it with basmati rice or prata.
You can’t miss the barbecue station where fresh seafood and meats are grilled right in front of you. I couldn’t resist the mouth watering iberico pork and korean galbi even though I was almost full to the max. The chef also served a beautifully plated buttery pan fried foie gras with crusted bread.
By the time I reached desserts, I can only limit myself to a few pieces out of the 30 over desserts and kueh kuehs.
Can't complain... work is good. Hosted an event for #mikimoto tonight. Necklaces adorning those lovely models necks worth 4 Mio SGD all in all. Woohoo. Plus showcased one of Marilyn Monroes few real jewelry pieces. Who would have known... the icon loved costume jewelry.
