👆🏼Double tap if you'd take fresh salsa over jarred salsa if you didn't have to make it! I LOVE fresh salsa, but don't have the time to whip it together these days. Fortunately, both @freshcravingssalsa ( #ad ) Organic Salsa and Eva’s Kitchen Cantina Style Salsa are chilled and sold in the produce section at @heb, making my life way easier!
This Fiesta Artichoke Dip is basically a creamy protein-packed dip that got a major flavor upgrade with @freshcravingssalsa! Recipe below plus I’ll be making this dip on 📺Great Day SA mañana!
Swipe to check out Eva's Kitchen Cantina Style Salsa (yep, from the talented @evalongoria) which packs a rich and smoky bite that's derived from chipotle, jalapeno, cayenne, and Anaheim peppers, fresh vegetables and vine-ripened tomatoes 🍅 that are specially charred and roasted to bring out their most robust flavor!

Once the parents left it was time to cook! Olivia and I have a list of foods we want to cook eventually and we felt like meatball subs! We made both the tomato sauce and meatballs from scratch (pork and beef) and served them on crunchy bread with a lot of cheese! We wanted something else with the subs so we also made spinach artichoke dip because Olivia and I are obsessed with artichokes. It all turned out well! The meatballs were juicy and full of flavor and the sauce (which was surprisingly easy to make) was better than store bought! As you can see we have no clue how to cook for a small amount of people so if anyone ever wants to come eat some yummy food let us know!

Warm spinach artichoke dip—perfect fall dish for entertaining. My version for @cleaneatingmag is super-healthy thanks to a base of hearts of palm—but it’s so rich and creamy, don’t even tell anyone it’s good for them. 😉
👩🏼🍳SPINACH & ARTICHOKE DIP for the latest edition of “I cooked which means you can too!” Have you been to @houstonsrestaurants or @hillstonerestaurants and had their spinach artichoke dip? I swear this @fooddotcom must be their recipe; it is such a good dupe. My advice would be make sure you have all the ingredients prepped ahead of time, the steps come at you quickly 🔥🤪 Recipe is below with two suggestions: use 30oz of spinach and serve in cast iron skillet and heat up in the oven rather than the microwave!
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons minced onions or 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1⁄4 cup real butter
1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups heavy cream
1⁄4 cup chicken broth
2⁄3 cup fresh-grated pecorino romano cheese
2 teaspoons fresh-squeezed lemon juice
1⁄2 teaspoon hot sauce
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
1⁄4 cup sour cream
20 ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed, squeezed dry
12 ounces artichoke hearts, drained, coarsely chopped
1⁄2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, sauté garlic and onion in butter until golden, about 3 - 5 minutes.
-Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
-Slowly whisk in cream and broth and continue cooking until boiling.
-Once boiling, stir in Romano, lemon juice, hot sauce, and salt; stir until cheese has melted; remove from heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
-Stir sour cream into pan, then fold in dry spinach and artichoke hearts.
-Fold the mixture into a microwave-safe serving dish, or into several serving-size dishes.
-Sprinkle cheddar evenly over top(s).
-At this point, the dip can be refrigerated until ready to serve, if desired.
-Microwave dip on 50% power just until cheese has melted.

Trying these ”Chimney Cakes” from @AZChimneyCakes brings back fond memories of my trip to Europe and the Prague, Czech Republic.
Kürtőskalács #NotaChurro ; it is a Hungarian dish that can be found in parts of Europe like Germany, Czech Republic, and France.
These are some tasty cakes 😋. They have some sweet options like Bavarian Cream, soft serve ice cream, Nutella, cookies and cream, and more! Instead of having the traditional sweet chimney cake with cinnamon and sugar, I went with a savory option of spinach and artichoke which was delicious and paired perfectly with this tasty baked pastry cone. Give them a try, located at the Paradise Valley Mall, between JC Penny's and Macy's.
