We went to the vet tonight.
We had another ultrasound to check why Dudes tummy is looking so bloated.
I was afraid he might have fluid or internal bleeding - he doesn't have either .
Its the cancer taking over his liver. ...He is in no pain ... The cancer is spreading and the lymph nodes are getting bigger but Dudes doing amazingly well _ He's 30.1kg.
He's put on weight since last visit. ( probably the cancer, although he is eating more, the prednisone will be doing that
All the staff at #veterinaryassociatestakanini
cant believe how good he looks and the strength he still has for a dog 7 weeks in from being diagnosed with lymphoma.
They have been so amazing .
Tonight they stayed open past closing waiting for us to arrive .
He still has alot of strength.
We were playing tug yestetday and can pull me along and just about dislocates my shoulder .
Hes carrying big sticks and dragging tress along the beach like he did last weekend. 😊
- hes not going anywhere soon .
And tonight..1st time ever..
He wasnt stressed out and anxious being there.
Even gobbled treats which he normally wants nothing to do with..
and just wants outta there.

This is a portrait that took a lot of love, time and attention. Diesel’s portrait is the largest I’ve worked on in coloured pencils, measuring 19x22”
It took me a while to get to grips with his features being so large, but I enjoyed it immensely and seeing it completed is a great feeling. It’s often difficult to judge the scale of the drawings without context so...here I am!
If you are interested in a portrait of your own, please get in touch. I only have one space remaining for this year so make sure you’re speedy if you want it before Christmas!
