https://virtualart.chromeexperiments.com/ "Virtual Art Sessions is an experiment in virtual reality painting with Tilt Brush. The project partnered with six world-renowned artists bringing them a new way to paint, draw and sculpt. We recorded their sessions and made it accessible online, letting you observe the artists as they develop their virtual reality creations from any angle. Virtual Art Sessions is open source. It's a bit of a mess, so proceed at your own risk, but if you poke around enough, you’ll see how we created the entire project." Follow our suggestion? Hope you had a great week! I feel like mine was productive, hope yours was too. Today, I kick off our talk with out a shout out to @iceman_hof and a thanks 🙏🏽 for the free online breathing session he held - epic. If you’re not tapped into a breathing program, I can’t urge you enough to do so. My path started thanks to @treckert at @radicalvoyage Voyage, who 3 years ago, took me to a session with @_brianmackenzie and then to one with @kaspersfocus . I was hooked, and have never looked back. If you can get a course, paid, or otherwise, from any of those guys, you won’t regret it.
How about books! What are you reading/listening to!? I go through my Audible list to share what I’ve been reading thanks to some suggestions from Jen Carter at Jencrealty.com and @sophie_blablabla at @studioremains and others that I found through some favorite podcasts which I’ll discuss in an upcoming video - why not!? Plenty more to talk about, right!? Plenty of time it seems, for us to be here sharing stories, physically distant, socially connected! Reading list: You are a Bad Ass, You are a Bad Ass at Making Money by @jensincero , The Miracle Equation by @hal_elrod , @projectdrawdown : The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming, Fashionopolis: The Price of Fast Fashion and the Future of Clothes by @danathomasparis , Never Split the Difference: Negotiating as if Your Life Depended on It by @thefbinegotiator , Excellence Wins: A No-Nonsense Guide to Becoming the Best in a World of Compromise by Horst Schulze (Ritz Carlton Co-founder). Happy reading 😊.
Oh! I mentioned too - tune into the @jackjohnson live bedroom show today at 3pm in solidarity with @who ! That will be a nice little getaway .
Things are getting a little bit more restricted here in Miami Beach, so I’m finding ways to make myself busy here at home.
I have many Driftwood Quartz Sculptures that I started but haven’t finished yet, so this looks like a perfect weekend to get back to work and maybe even finish this one. This one is without a doubt one of my absolute favorite pieces right now.
Still a work in progress but wanted to share with you some pictures I just took. So much still to do but when all is done, this piece is going to be an amazing jewelry display. Can’t wait to show you when is completed.
What are you guys planning for the weekend? How are you keeping yourself busy at home?
Sending you all my love and please use caution and be safe. 💞
I can finally introduce you all to Elizabeth!
I chose to name her Elizabeth because its an old name, a Royal name (Sissi) and my 3th name. I wanted to call her one off my names because I am proud of who I am.
It took a long time to come to this name. When I was little I was bullied in school. And just now I realised that in these past 2,5 years, I really found myself. I did not like myself much before these years, and all because of the bullying. I did not dare to stand out and show myself.
I just didnt really wanne be seen. But ever since we changed our life in early 2017, slowly that al changed. And now I came to the point where I just don't care what anybody thinks anymore. Well, offcoarse I do, but in a tottaly different way. I love meself and I love my body. I dress meself the way that makes me feel proud, strong and above al beautyfull.
I am a true believer in the fact that everybody is beautyfull nomatter how you look like, the shape of your body, the way you dress, the colour off your skin, hair or how you wear your makeup.
I made my bodydouble with the pattern from @bootstrapfashion and I love it. I only wished that I also could select my body shape. Elizabeth is more a pear shape and I am more like an hourglass. I am not good enough yet to change her myself. Maybe in de future there will be a Elizabeth 2.0
I also have the pattern for her arms but I have not enough filling and interfacing jet, so they have to wait a little while.
Let me know what you think, and tell me your experiences in making your own dressform. I'd love to hear all about it 😉
Yoga is an activity that has proven to decrease stress and increase mindfulness! Give it a try! There are many ways to participate in yoga classes whether it is in a group class at your local gym or at home watching a YouTube video... either way is equally effective. Especially during these times of having to stay isolated, watching and participating in a yoga session on YouTube is a great way to keep busy! #yoga#mindfulness#staybusy#happy#bestlife#homeyoga#activity
How are you staying busy during the shelter-in-place orders?
We're still at the shop, churning out work...but last night, we relaxed & started building a shop sculpture from spare & trash parts laying around...a pair of integra front forks as feet, a pair of rear civic struts as tibula/tibia, a pair of civic rear trans mounts as knees, a pair of integra front LCAs & Tein springs as femurs, some stainless pipe for a hip section & then a pair of rear lower LCAs as the beginning of the spinal cord/center structure.
When it's complete, the sculpture will stand 6.5-7ft tall & incorporate parts from many different Honda & Acura vehicles.
Here comes Peter Cottontail.... Get ready cause Easter is a comin’. We painted our wooden eggs with AnnieSloan, Mixed it with some bunnies and wrapped it up with gorgeous dried flowers and vintage china. Whallaa, we are ready! 🐰Keep an eye on our window, we’ve got pretty spring things to make you smile while your driving by! #staybusy#keepsmiling#spring#easterdecor#celebratelife#behappy
Lock down or not, life goes on.... not as we know it though.
We are facing many challenges in these uncertain times.
How can we master them?
Check my video, let me know what you are going through, ask what you would like to know. Let’s grow together.
Unicorn message for the upcoming week
1. Leadership - step into your power, leadership. Share your message and inspire and empower others. Well yes it's time to rise and shine to show your true power to yourself first and then to the others raise your vibration to a more positive level so that others are also inspired to follow you.
2. Innocence - why yes when it's time of self isolation - take out time to play, nurture your inner child and live with a childlike sense of Wonder. Do you remember when you were a child you used to believe in magic and fairies and miracles? Well, the Unicorn is saying that it is time to again have that kind of Innocence and have faith and believe in miracles.
3. Possibility - Raise your standards, elevate your expectations as you have unlimited potential. have you heard the saying when the time gets tough the tough get going so the times are tough and of course this is the time when you are going to be tested but you do not know your own potential so it is time to raise your own expectations to a new level. Have faith in yourself and look at the positive things which are happening around you even in this time of extreme epidemic. #Oraclecards#oracle#oraclecardreading#oraclecardreadersofinstagram#oraclereading#superattractor#superattractordeck#unicornoraclecards#unicornmessages#uniteagainstcovid19#staybusy#staymotivated
STAY BUSY. STAY POSITIVE. This is my mantra to help me deal with all of my emotions right now.
I’m listing everyday and have started going through my stale inventory and either relisting it or pulling it from my closet. I plan to clean out my personal closet. This photo is my to do rack.
I’m cleaning clothes that have stains on them and am doing sewing repairs. These tend to be tasks I never seem to finish. Cleaning shoes is actually therapeutic.
I’m spending time with my family. My two adult children are home and while the adjustment hasn’t been easy, I am grateful for this unprecedented time. I would never have had weeks with them to savor and build our relationship. . . Exercise is another helpful coping mechanism for me. I’m trying to get outside everyday for a run or a walk. My husband will have our yard and garden looking the best it’s ever been. It will soon be time to plant flowers. .
❤️❤️ How are you staying busy and positive? Please share to help others. ❤️❤️ STAY BUSY. STAY POSITIVE. Hugs to everyone.
