Mr. Greenburg is a philosopher and teacher of the great pinecone science: Germination Education, or “Germ Ed” for short. The class answers many of the great topics such as “Where do Pinecones come from?” Or, occasionally asked, “If I bury myself, will I grow into a big mighty tree?” While these are all valid question and class topics, Mr. Greenburg lives with the strong belief that no pinecone should ever ask more than what they are ready to learn. The classes are approximately 13 weeks long and have a slow breakdown, easing their way into more difficult (and sometimes uncomfortable) subject matters. “Students sometimes come out of this knowing more then they would ever want to know. Sometimes I leave class learning from the students more than I would ever want to know,” Mr. Greenburg joked. Nonetheless, the class is highly looking forward to this weeks field trip, a well needed break after the September 29th incident
I’m really looking forward to a short work week then off for some outdoor adventures. Something about being out there that puts me in my happy place and a healthy mindset. For stop Mt Baker on Thursday then Enchantment bound for the weekend. ✌🏽⛰

This week marked two years in this little jewel box apartment in the city. Feeling grateful for everything that has happened here 💛 I’ve written thousands of words, made decisions big & small, studied, gazed at hundreds of sunrises and read two dozen books. I’ve kept this rubber plant alive! (Many others have died.) I’ve cried, but I’ve also laughed with friends. This little home let me become myself, and I can’t ever get over that ✨
It’s a family tradition 🎼 sometimes you come out empty handed. Sucks but it’s mostly the memories you get to make with people that make it worth while. So make the memories worth while, while you’re with your loved ones wherever you are.
This was from a shoot I did a couple months ago when I had my co-op in Vancouver, but never got around to looking at my SD card until now. Life gets busy and responsibilities take over sometimes, and I feel like I'm constantly trying to figure out this concept of balance. This was also my first time doing portrait photography as I had always been focused on landscape. It was quite challenging, but also a lot of fun. I'm hoping to expand my line of work to feature this kind of imagery 😊.

Times flies too fast...
Jumping through the week like...
At nearly 2,900m or 9,500ft, Wedge Mountain towers over the Garibaldi Ranges. It is the tallest mountain in the range and provincial park. This massive volcanic rock can easily be seen from the nearby Whistler Blackcomb ski area. Once named Mount Vancouver, it was renamed in 1932 by the Garibaldi Park Board.
Unfortunately, the glacier has been receding rapidly in recent years. Not even ten years ago, this ancient glacier went all the way down to Wedgemount Lake. Since then it has retreated over 100 meters, primarily due to a global rise in temperatures.
It’s time for the human race to wake up. If someone you know is still in denial about global warming, tell them to open their eyes and look around. There are reminders of it everywhere we go. From coral reefs dying in the tropics, to the polar ice caps melting in the arctics, and everywhere in between. Spread the message. Climate change is real. It will royally f*** us if we do not make change now.

Whether you live life with God or without God, life will be tough. But with God, it’s so much more peaceful. You know there is Someone up there watching over you, and that the end of your strength is only the beginning of His. 🙏🏼
As you’re going outbound, nothing is satisfying as finding a trail that leads to an edge overlooking the landscape beyond.
This moment pauses everything around you while gaining a hot second to enjoy what lies ahead. So sit back, absorb the scenery that makes you feel like you’re on top of the world.
