What a special experience to be able to share my love of #pottery with visitors at the Chinese bunkhouse @britanniashipyards. It's also speaks closely to my heart to be able to learn more about the history of Chinese contractors who used to live and work here
Steven and I went to high school together. he remembers the only thing I ever put any effort into was photo class. i guess it was 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 obvious 😂
fast forward two years from when Steven and Sam asked if I would shoot their wedding, tonight we feast and drink wine as friends laughing about our first nervous meeting together. happy to say, Sam and Steven are amazing friends. cheers to that.
HAPPY FRIDAY FRIENDS 🍷

Weekend special brownie ganache. Less sugar and more chocolate!
@riverrockcasinoresort has always been active in supporting the Christmas Fund, whether by hosting events, making donations, or running toy drives. This year, they did all three!
Their toy drive, which was hugely successful, came with an added incentive: for every toy collected, River Rock would make a $25 donation to the Christmas Fund. As toys piled up in the hotel lobby, the fundraising total kept growing, until it reached $5,000!
Since 2014, Grant and Erinn Bryan, of @oharespubandliquor, have been organizing Steveston Beer Fest. It happens in the summer, well before the holiday season, making it the first event on the Christmas Fund calendar. We couldn't ask for, or imagine, a better way to start our campaign.⠀
This year's edition of Beer Fest raised $13,700, which is amazing. Also amazing: to date, the event has generated just shy of $65,000 for the Christmas Fund!⠀
While it runs like clockwork, Beer Fest is a massive undertaking. That Grant and Erinn make it look easy is a credit to their skill as event organizers. But donating proceeds to charity? That's a credit to who they are as people. ⠀
Here's to two awesome community leaders!⠀
With you, it's different.
My gf asked me the other day what I would change about Ben if I could change anything... I said probably if he lived life more on the edge lol 😂 cuz he didn't want to swim with sharks 🦈 with me (that's a story for another day. But I'm such an adrenaline junkie haha).
Then she asked me if there was anything I think he would change about me... and obv at first I said Nothing 🙄 duh! But then again, I think he would wish I was more patient.
I'm the clumsiest person you may ever meet (though I try to be put together) and I also want things done yesterday, all the time. Is it a PR Girl 💁🏻♀️ kinda thing?
All I know is that we balance each other out and for that I am grateful. He's the kindest and most patient man I've ever met ❤️️, and trust me when I say patient because a lot of people can't deal with my crazy ass.

Living for this sunshine! Only 3 more weeks until I leave for Asia and I can't waittt to feel that humidity haha. ✈️⠀
I spent the morning shopping online for cute outfits and new swimwear. I bought a few pieces from @nastygal and swimsuits from @asos. ⠀
I just booked my last resort for Canggu just now. So if anyone has any suggestions feel free to send them my way!⠀
My first stop is Bangkok, then Bali, Singapore and Tokyo. If you know how I travel you know I hate touristy stuff, so if you know of any great hole in the wall places, tips, or speakeasy's I must visit then please let me know. ⠀

Spent the weekend relaxing and enjoying quality time with this stud. ⠀
Quality time is so important. Though I am a powerhouse I get overwhelmed and do get anxiety too. I get through those tough days by setting time for myself, ben, and enjoy nature or simply walking/hanging out with a dog 🐶 (any dog LOL). ⠀
How do you unwind and spend your work breaks?⠀ #VancouverPRGirl#QualityTime#StevestonBC
steveston is a super weird little town where we all grew up. it is a historic Japanese fishing village turned major tourist town, so naturally we have great sushi, lots of fishermen, and a whole lot of nautical themed souvenir shops. if you can’t use chopsticks by the age of 4 here (or anywhere in Richmond), you’re basically a useless human being 😂
it’s flat AF here. we have a big fat dyke system 😉 in case of flooding. you’re looking at the marshlands beyond the dyke in this photo. if you haven’t drank Growers cider in the marshlands, you most certainly did not grow up in Steveston. yes, sad but true.
you may have heard of Steveston when our resident sea lion pulled a young girl into the river because her idiot family was trying to feed it. google it, it’s amazing.
