A few months ago I was given the BEST advice. Now I’m sure I had heard it before, but clearly I was finally ready to HEAR it! I was told to just do something, ANYTHING, as it relates to something I’m passionate about.
See, we’re often too focused on the “how”. I was obsessively trying to map out how I could get to my DREAM job, and every time I got discouraged. It seemed like too much, like I was too old. So I convinced myself that my 9-5 job was it for me.
What I really needed to do was ACT! Nothing big, just something, 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕗𝕣𝕠𝕞 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕚𝕟𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕒𝕝 𝕒𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝕒 𝕡𝕒𝕥𝕙, 𝕠𝕣 𝕞𝕒𝕟𝕪, 𝕔𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕦𝕟𝕗𝕠𝕝𝕕.
SO, the very next day I enrolled in a course and publicly announced that I would be launching an online biz.

Woke up to this under my door this morning and it pulled on my heartstrings HARD.
All my little girl wants is to go to Disney...and it’s what drives me every day to earn the money to take her there.
Growing up, we had a wonderful childhood with loving, caring supportive parents, however the money wasn’t flowing in our house by any means.
We went to Disney one time when I was 7. We drove there because it was all that we could afford: 3 long, torturous days there and 3 even longer ones home.
I still remember that trip vividly, and all I want is to give my girls the same opportunity.
Before I started coaching, I didn’t have clear goals for myself, my family or our future. The days simply passed and one lead into the next.
Now, I know exactly what I want for our future, how long it will take us and how I will get us there. I wake up each morning with a 🔥 in my soul because I know how badly my girls deserve it and how badly I want to make it a reality for them.
I’ve got a drive and willingness to hustle hard for these dreams and I’m looking for women to link arms with on this mission.
Do you continue to watch and look on in awe? How about being inspired but not doing anything about it? If so...listen up.
I know you have read posts before and have been inspired and maybe even gotten to the point of messaging that person or commenting on that post but you stop yourself because of a limiting belief or self doubt. Thinking that you have already tried everything to stay consistent or to lose the weight or to gain the confidence. So why would that option actually work?
I totally get it...I tried MANY different types of workouts, training plans, and was starting to accept I would never get back to where I was before kids. I watched other moms kill it and be in the best shape of their life but I never believed I could do it.
So what changed? Finally figuring out that if I don’t change nothing is going to ever change. I have helped myself get in the best shape of my life prior to getting pregnant with Logan and on my way to doing it again. I have numerous moms in my Accountability groups putting themselves first on the daily and getting killer results. I finally realized that just because I was a mom I was still allowed to get in shape and love my body despite what society says.
So if this person is you...STOP waiting and lets chat. The timing is never going to be perfect. The yo-yo dieting and working out plan doesn’t work (trust me I tried it way too many times). Watching others is super inspiring but why can’t you become that person that inspires others? Send me a message so we can chat and push that limiting belief aside.

I’ve had a few overwhelming whooshes of emotion the past 48 hours, and lemme tell ye, the me from 10+ years ago wouldn’t have had a CLUE what they were or why they came about 😄
But the 2019 me? She knows EXACTLY what they’re about.
And it’s no coincidence that my past 48 hours have been 100% about ME; my dreams, my goals, my achievements, my down-time, my business.
Y’see these whooshes are self-love, self-appreciation and self-respect, that combine together to deliver an overwhelming sense of happiness and fulfilment in these lil awesome, giddy bursts.
I personally interpret them as lil thank you messages from my intuition; thanking me for listening to her, trusting in her, and following through on important promises to myself (no matter how crazy the journey that ‘following through’ takes me on!) 😅
And I’m not sharing this from a conceited perspective at all, or declaring that I’ve ‘arrived’ (because I certainly haven’t, in fact – I’m excited about how much more I can grow), but I am sharing it from the perspective of – these sensations were completely alien to me 10 years ago. Self-love was a laughable notion. Self-appreciation was wholly absent. And self-respect was at an all-time low.
But I changed that. And I really want you to hear this when I say…
YOU CAN TOO.
Y’see, when you *consciously* befriend yourself, nothing’s impossible. Like NOTHING. And this trip to LA certainly felt impossible, even as recently as a few weeks ago. But rather than back out and break an important promise to myself, I chose to use the challenges as fuel to figure it out. I chose to get on my own side rather than beat myself up. I chose to honour my promise and see it AS important as the promises I make to others.
And I did.
Because I’m writing this poolside with cute sunglasses on my head 😜😎 now tell me darl - what’s ONE promise you want to make yourself for the last two months of 2019? A promise that’s AS important as the promises you make to others remember...💋

Have you noticed a pattern going on within yourself?
I'll start when... We will have a kid when.. We will travel when.. Why do you keep pushing your desires away from you?? There will NEVER be a right time to do or start anything. It will always be an excuse.
You will never have enough money to have that adorable baby.
You still wont have the time or money to start traveling.
Monday comes and another excuse arises.
Just start today, push threw those damn fears and do it you will be thankful you did.
Is the process going to be easy? Nope.
Will it be worth it? Absolutely!! Think about this.
A lot has changed over the last 8 years. Living in the US vs Germany, babies no longer being babies, divorced rather than married, 40s rather than 30s. I’ve always been “active”, even back then. I enjoyed field trips, volunteering, travel and fun. Yet there were things I’d have said no to, things that I knew I lacked the energy, strength or confidence to do. Things that I watched others do from the sidelines. As I summited Sentinel Rock with my Asher yesterday, I thought about the positive changes that have come, the quality of life gained by my one little decision back in 2013 to work with a health coach and lose some stubborn pounds and adopt some long term habits. I couldn’t have predicted that my babies would grow into young adults who desired to live life conquering physically challenging feats. And as I watched him, at 11, summit this very difficult hike I realized that if I were not in physical shape to go with him then he’d not have been able to go. At home he said “mom, I’m so proud of myself. And mom, I’m really proud of you too.” To me, this is a highlight of parenting. To give my children opportunities for experiences that feed their souls, and I’m so grateful to be able to create these memories with them. Friends, for me, it started with pushing past my excuses and embracing what could be. Realizing that without making some changes, doing what my coach said, I was holding not only myself back, but the little people God had given me to raise up. I share this not to say “look at me” but to say, you deserve a life filled with what feeds your soul too. What life do you want to live, what experiences and memories do you want with your loved ones? I encourage you, Dream. Be discontented. Stop making excuses. I partner with people every single day who feel stuck, incapable of physically or emotionally tackling their own great feats. For most of my life there was always something I was waiting for or waiting to change.
Sometimes I took action but the important things (the things that really scared me) I would become patient about
I waited two years to start my plan and get healthy. Two years.
In the interim I did many diets, I personal trained and became a trainer, and convinced myself I didn’t need the help of hiring a coach.
Two years later Asaf and I finally committed to getting healthy and putting ourselves first.
There will never be a perfect time, a perfect day or minute to commit to your health

We live a big chunk of our lives on autopilot. Scientifically, that’s good. We have a set of brain structures called default mode network (DMN) that help us do certain things without paying attention - such as tying our shoelaces, cooking something we are familiar with making, etc. We don’t always need to pay attention to exist. But when you are stuck in a rut, too afraid of failure to take a leap of faith or even a step forward into the unknown, then you’re just coasting through life. You’re living uninspired. No wonder you’re unhappy and discontent. Don’t wait to enjoy an experience of some kind because you’re tired, or on a diet, or scared what people will think, or just not quite ready. Motivation is a myth keeping so many people stuck.
Do you know how many variables have to align so you feel like it?
There are dozens:: Hormones, gut health, inflammation, nutrients, toxin exposure, pathogens, relationships, external stimulus, & sooooo many other factors contribute to your feelings... Waiting until you feel like it is like waiting for an eclipse.
Discipline is the magic ingredient to change & consistency. And you have to consistently change to get results.
