Sometimes we end in uncomfortable and messy situations which could totally be avoided if you'd have said NO.
Saying 'No' to certain favour or a task isn't as easy as one might think.
If not said right, it can often ruin friendships, relationships and a lot more. But agreeing to do something, that doesn't seem right or is uncomfortable for you isn't also always the right way to go, when you do you are discounting your values.
So, what should one do in these situations? How to say 'No' politely.
It is tricky but it can avoid you a tonne of anxiety.
Life is like a steering wheel and you are the driver. You decide what direction to go keeping in mind that it only takes one small move to change your entire direction. For me discipline has been my drive, passion the fuel that keeps me going, desire determines my direction and therefore the destination. Remember your direction in life is being determined by following and living out the desires of your heart. Always find a way forward, create new experiences for yourself, and open roads towards your own growth.

it’s better to be a lion for a day than a sheep all you life✌🏻
I talked about this on my stories yesterday as I cycled for 45 minutes on an assault bike, wondering why I’d done that to myself.
I used to listen to @davidgoggins last year and although he was super motivating and impressive, I also couldn’t quite relate to it the messages he would put out.
I couldn’t quite understand.
But after forcing myself to swim 3 times a week for 3 months when I absolutely hated it...
And after forcing myself to run 3 times a week when I absolutely hated it...
I now understand EXACTLY what he means.
Doing something that sucks = being uncomfortable...it equals pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone.
But by changing habits and by doing the things that force us to step up...be end up being empowered, we congratulate ourselves for doing something we never thought we’d do and we realise that we are in fact capable of more.
