Grateful for every single day i’m blessed to wake up and become a better version of myself than i was the day before.
I don’t take one thing, one person, or one single moment of my life for granted.❤️
And that is freedom. 🙌🏼 Goodnight 🌙
🎶 “Yeah, life sure can try to put love through it, but
We built this right, so nothing's ever gonna move it
When the bones are good, the rest don't matter
Yeah, the paint could peel, the glass could shatter
Let it rain 'cause you and I remain the same
When there ain't a crack in the foundation
Baby, I know any storm we're facing
Will blow right over while we stay put
The house don't fall when the bones are good
No, it don't always go the way we planned it
But the wolves came and went and we're still standing” 🎶
We met six years ago on a plane and it’s been a wild ride but I always knew you were the one! Happy two year anniversary(and a few months engaged)! The sun illuminates the sky as it rises over the Superstition Mountains near Apache Junction, Arizona. I have been to this location several times before for sunset and night shots but they have never turned out quite right. On a whim, I decided to try a sunrise shot here. As I was driving to the location, I was thinking to myself I was probably wasting my time and there would likely be very little color in the sky. I got lucky, as it turned out to be one of the most spectacular sunrises.
My first attempt at a time lapse. A little windy but she stood strong! The best part though? For over an hour it kept me from checking my phone. From even looking at this spectacular sunset through a screen. Taking 100 photos that I’ll never do anything with. For over an hour I was present. I sat on the steps of this cabin with my pup who felt equally as calm and we soaked in the gifts we were given. I let my hair down and the wind breathed softly on our faces. I watched as the Superstitions changed colors and the shadows changed shapes and danced across the valley. And the birds sang in an echoed delight to what we witnessed. The night belonged to me and my wild little wolf. Even if only for a little while. 🏜
Flatiron summit today. Started out the hike alone and ran into these guys. Lots of fun! Great group of guys. Two ex athletes and one ex Army Ranger. Everyone threw down and did great. They’ll be in my next YouTube video.
BACKSTORY: I was supposed to fly to Arizona at the end of March to photograph these desert lovers + yep... you guessed it, COVID went ahead + messed that all up. We have been debating for a few months on what to do, whether to wait or not + had to come up with plan B.
HERE TO SAVE THE DAY @sydrichphoto ! Sydney, came up after a LONG search to find someone similar enough to my style + someone that I found who would make sure Mae + Adam would feel comfortable + get genuine reactions!
I am BEYOND thrilled with the results + will forever owe @sydrichphoto !! Photographed by @sydrichphoto x edited by me x culled with @narrativeapp Select!!
