our blood is mostly water.
it uses iron to bind oxygen which was built using the energy of sunlight.
water. earth. air. fire.
you may feel separated from the natural world, but just look at the family resemblance.

@berrce - “By far one of my biggest accomplishments as a fisherman/angler. Swordfish on rod and reel on the west coast! At a very young age my father introduced me to these amazing prehistoric creatures. He used to talk about his 13 years aboard his family’s harpoon boat called the Majestic and tell me tons of his crazy stories. He always has had such a large respect and obsession for these fish and through all the stories it, of coarse, rubbed off on me. I too became obsessed! I remember one day when I was about 11 years old my dad brought me home a book by Zane Grey called “Tales of Swordfish and Tuna” I hated reading, but since it was about fishing I read it… by the time I was done reading it, all I wanted to do was catch tuna and swords, but mostly swords! Throughout our years of being on the water together we have had many shots at these fish on the surface but could never seem to get one inside the boat whether it was tackle failure or just stubborn fish that wouldn’t bite. With a little patience and dedication we managed to put two, back to back, fish on the boat while being enrolled in the Channel Islands Billfish tournament making it the first and second swordfish caught since 1978... over 40 years! Words cannot describe how honored we are to not only have caught these fish but be the guys who put swords back into our very own hometown tournament after so many years ! Thanks pops and thank you Ocean!”
