Mr Madness did it again. He snuck out of bed at 6am on Saturday and by the time Mini and me came down for breakfast he’d wallpapered the downstairs loo. Totally loving the @cole_and_son_wallpapers Frutto Proibito in here. There is a ton of snagging for the Unskilled Labour (me) to get on with but, oh my gosh this room looks fab already!! We’ll definitely overlook the fact that Mr M used my brand new navy face towels to wipe off excess wallpaper paste. Not even bothered one bit. Uh uh. Nope. Not. At. All. Swipe for progress pics. .

When thinking about storage for your perfect bathroom, it pays to think about who will be it. If you have kids, for example, a mirror placed high on the wall isn't going to be practical for them, so think about low-level storage solutions. Or if you love to style your bathroom accessories and have beautiful bottles and brands then put them on show with trays or a ladder style unit.
Remember, bathroom storage doesn't have to be dull! You can think outside the box and find some modern, innovative bathroom storage ideas to keep your bathroom essentials safe!
Smart, simple style... Rattan has such strong childhood memories as we had rattan on our kitchen chairs & I was forever getting a patterned bum!🤣 How nice is it for materials to strike a memory as well as being beautiful. #joinerydesign#contemporaryhomes

Layout is King. Don't be afraid to consider moving your toilet, bath and shower around to make better use of your space if your budget allows. The flow of your bathroom is equally important as it’s a space where you go first thing in the morning and last thing at night so it has to feel and flow right!
The layout and style of your bathroom will often depend on the size and space you have to work with.
Keeping the original fittings where they are will always be cheaper, however, if your bathroom hasn't been updated for years, the chances are that the layout isn't doing you any favours! That’s where we would suggest a full move around!
When thinking about your layout, think about the location of the following:
Windows - are they letting in natural light and who can see through them!
Doors - If space is tight, you could consider a sliding door, or add a sliding door to provide shared access.
Skylights - The perfect addition to any bathroom! Skylights let natural light flood in and best of all? They don't take up any precious space. They are the ideal way to add the feeling of space to your bathroom.
Baths - Consider putting your bath under a window to save space and make a real statement.
Toilets - Always try and hide your toilet so that it can't be seen through an open door.
Your home is a very valuable asset and in a more uncertain market it makes a lot of sense to maximise the space and value in your home 🏡

Teenager Bedroom Ideas.
Love the three different textures of wall.

Just recording this stage of this painting and taking time to notice the things I love: the texture within the pale green. The rust and pink. That the dark is green, not blue!⠀
Perhaps too much colour - or maybe not enough? Anyway, still all to play for here. Last painting day before half term and then just a feed weeks until Surrey @contemporaryartfairs which starts 15th March.
Come and see how this turns out- there will be tickets for those on my mailing list.
