GUYS - I don’t know about you but I was feeling a little lazy & mushy from all this couch-sitting lately.. And not to mention all the extra snackin..🤣🤷🏻♀️ I woke up CRAVING some type of sweat-sesh so I decided to take it to the stairs and I can’t believe how much I was sweating!!
• Single Step Sprint
• Double Step Sprint
• Single-Leg Double Step
• Single Step Jump Squat
• Single Step Lateral Lunge
• Single-Leg Double Step Dead Lift
(Say that 5 times fast🤣)
This is such a great home workout because you can modify it to ANY fitness level that you are at! Keep it simple & start by just running up and down your stairs, or advance it and turn it into a weighted leg HIIT workout!! 🤩🙌🏼 I did a little bit of everything and circuited a lot of these moves to keep myself constantly moving and working up a sweat! Try it out if you’re in the mood to sweat!!😈

This workout is roughly 90% compound exercises and a few isolation exercises. Compound movements are king 👑.
I ended up burning 543 calories during this workout according to my Apple Watch. Fitness trackers aren’t 100% accurate but I damn sure had to put forth a lot of effort to finish this workout. Swipe left and get to work 😉! (2 MINUTE REST AFTER EACH ROUND)

So I've decided that I'm going to use this time to get back on track and work on lil old me! So today I cleaned the oven (literally told everyone this), started reading The Chimp Paradox, did some washing, went for a walk, did the bins and did a workout! I even used my hairdryer for the first time in 2 weeks. Hoping to keep the momentum up over the next few weeks. Wish me luck haha! .
I did break the no sugar thing, though with everything going on at the moment, I'm not beating myself up. I'm avoiding 90% of the time and not over indulging when I do have a treat. WOD - full body HIIT
40 seconds work / 20 seconds rest for each movement.
4 rounds of * reverse burpee to chest to floor burpee. * reverse lunge into explosive kicks - change leg alternate rounds. * walkout, 10 mountain climbers into tuck jump. * on completion - finisher 180 squat jumps.
