While St. Petersburg garners most of the glory as Russia’s cultural heart, Moscow is proving to have charms of its own. The city, which was once geared toward business travelers, has since reinvented itself with a host of city festivals, developed under the unified Moscow Seasons concept. The Russian capital is now focused on promoting event, cultural and educational tourism. Scheduled throughout the year, the festivals feature a variety of themes timed to correspond to seasons. In October, visitors can experience the Golden Autumn Festival, which shares with them the many cuisines of Russia’s regions, and in December, the Journey to Christmas, Europe’s largest Christmas festival, captures the magic of Moscow with ice slides, carousels, ice ballets, spectacular light installments and traditional winter activities. There for Moscow City Day, which honors the city’s founding with street performances, concerts, exhibitions, free cultural events, fireworks and more, we were able to participate in the festivities and discover all this vibrant city has to offer. With the Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow as our home base, we were within easy walking distance of Red Square, St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Kremlin and the famed Bolshoi Theatre. Also close by was the historic Hotel Metropole, which has become a…

A lot of fitness influencers don’t know this, but there are only three types of cardio that BRATPackers would be caught doing - social climbing, running out of money, and eating. And for those of you who don’t think eating is a form of exercise, then how come every time I eat I run out of breath and get all sweaty? .
Luckily, there is no better city than Madrid, Spain to justify our binge eating habits. But just like deciding what to caption your bathroom selfie, it can be absolutely draining trying choose where to eat in Madrid because everything sounds like Your-Sugar-Daddy-Paying-Off-Your-Student-Loans good. It’s stressful situations like these as to why I keep my calming crystals and CBD pen with me at all times. And if those don’t work, check out the link in my bio to see my guide Fork Yeah: Where To Eat in Madrid So You Don't Waste Your Euros On Bad Food.

🖤 I am drawn to these places out of a desire to more fully understand and experience the complexity of the human spirit. How this spirit is rooted, is born, and blossoms in spite of its geography. How it is always, essentially “the same”, except for those unique qualities that it is challenged to develop to some extra degree – whether because of the body, family or environment into which it is placed... .

That bittersweet moment when your babies outgrow their clothes 😭 Yes I’m obviously happy you are growing up so big and strong, and I’m so excited for you to wear your new clothes (or your brothers next size of hand me downs) ... but that means you are getting bigger! No longer are you a toddler sized 3-4. Now you’re a school boy sized 4-5. That said, I’m still cramming Arlo into this adorable snuggly warm star wrap from @tuppenceandcrumble that he technically outgrew two months ago 🙈 #secondbabyproblems
🏍⛰NEW BLOG POST⛰🏍
Yes, I've written another post about riding a motorcycle in Gran Canaria with @canaryride .😎👊🏻🤩🏍⛰
This post, like my Toronto Star article🗞, showcases the beauty of travelling on 2 wheels along some of the most dangerous roads in Europe, all while enjoying epic scenery and a rush of adrenaline that will leave your face with a perma-smile plastered on it.😄😁
This blog post also covers my teeny tiny mishap at the end of our riding day while coming back to Las Palmas, which is funny now, but was annoying when it happened.😒🤣 LOL
I've also jam packed this post with tons of great pictures taken throughout the day, which will definitely make you want to grab your bike gear, book a ticket and GO RIDE!!🏍⛰📸🤟🏻
Go check it out!👊🏻😎👊🏻
Budapest is definitely a city made for walking, don’t bother taking taxis around the central districts and then you can enjoy a stroll through the picturesque streets. You might even be able to spot a few pieces of street art like the one above as well.
There a lot of free walking tours throughout Budapest that will show you all the main sites, there’s even a few that will take you to the more well known street art and graffiti sites throughout the city. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to partake in one, but we did manage to spot this rather colourful door art just down the road from the ruin bar at szimpla kert!

The most Instagrammed place in Kuala Lumpur; Batu Caves.
We went right before closing time in the rain and basically got the caves totally to ourselves. Instead of doing an IG photoshoot we decided to enjoy the temple and moment.
I took one picture with my phone.
I will be doing a once off, never to be repeated, non-humorous post on how to enjoy the little things with your partner;
1) Appreciate the day. - It's not the destination, rather the journey. The cab ride, getting off at the wrong destination, running in the rain, using Malaysian bathrooms in a deserted petrol station were all the things that made this memorable. Don't focus on getting somewhere for that perfect IG picture, focus on the imperfect perfection which is your journey. .
2) Be in the moment, and the after-moment. - after the picture was taken, we spent an hour admiring every nook and cranny of these caves, looking at art, history and resonating with the culture. Be post-present. The IG picture is great, but a snapshot lasts a second, the memory attached is a lifetime.
3) Convey honesty. - Everyone wants to be perfect, but uniqueness is better than perfection. The reason I don't use filters and Photoshop is because I want to convey the story and not the fleeting moment. Wet hair = rain, red cheeks = adventure, blur = being focused on things other than taking the picture. The standards of beauty IG conveys is not true beauty, beauty is you, not just makeup on your face.
4) Be grateful. - If you're travelling, chances are you're already more privileged than 90% of individuals. Money running out, not doing everything you wanted in a short amount of time and other little problems are insignificant to what you have already achieved. Your attitude determines your latitude is possibly the best thing I have ever heard. Appreciate where you are and who you are with. (@tjy___lo I appreciate you)
5) Eye contact. - Not sure why this isn't a bigger thing. Wherever you are and whoever you are with, sometimes language is best communicated in silence. A gaze into the soul of your partner can be the difference between a moment and a memory.
Weekend is here!!!🙌🏼 what is everyone doing this weekend? We would love to see it!

Travel tip: Hawa Mahal is a summer palace found in the heart of Jaipur with hundreds of windows which face the street. The reason for these windows was to allow the royal family to escape the brutal heat of the summer, taking some solace in the movement of a cool breeze while simultaneously allowing for some people watching in the colorful city streets below. To enjoy a beautiful sunset view, walk across the street to the abundance of small cafes stacked one on top of the other and face the building. Take a table on the terrace, order a nice cup of chai, and enjoy 😉

will always be one of my favorite photographers ❤️
Wish I could repeat this day over, minus the longest bike ride around the island. I haven’t rode on a bike in years! (I managed to only fall off twice 🤦🏼♀️) We literally stopped at nearly every beach just to cool off before getting back on the bike again. Such an incredible day, but now I’ll be spending the next few days resting my sore body. 😂
