🇹🇭 Sawadeeka from Wat Arun aka The Temple of Dawn. 🛕 #galabaclafearless2019#Hilhilgirls
Taken almost a year ago when we went to BKK with my hilhil girls. One of the memorable place since we were almost kicked out of the temple at 12nn🤪
This is the only temple that we have visited because we were hypnotized by the BKK shopping experience esp. Chatuchak market.
Super loved BKK's temple. Everything is a work of art. As you can see, all the details were handpainted and very intricate. ⭐.
Would definitely be back to visit other temples esp. Chiang Mai.. on my bucketlist!
Im not losing hope that we could book our flights again to explore new places, learn new culture and meet new people like we used to. 🙏🏻
January, February 2020 - one of the best moments of our lives. We didn’t know at this time that this is going to be our only holiday for this year but it wouldn’t matter. Thailand has stolen our hearts and we wish we could go back there as soon as possible!
New post about Krabi will be online this weekend, keep your eye on it!
Have you ever been in Thailand? What is the most beautiful places you’ve been in your life? Will you go back there? Let me know in the comment.
Previously we’ve been in love with Barcelona and it will always be a special place for us but Thailand .. Different world, different love!
Happy Thursday Everyone! I’m posting quite late today.
Today I’m posting a photo I took a year ago from the Dragon Temple near Bangkok, perhaps one of the most photographed temples on Instagram in the last couple of years, especially from those of us that have (had) ad drone
Although it looks ancient, it’s actually quite new and although the Dragon Temple is the most famous one, it’s actually a complex of several temples each in the shape of an animal (there was a turtle, a peacock and an elephant as far as I could see). Aside from the temples what I enjoyed the most of my two visits to this complex is how welcoming people were and how proud they were of the their temple.
I love travelling and one of the things I love about travelling the most is getting to know other cultures and how the challenge my way of thinking, or the ways I was brought up, travelling opens your mind and gives you many different perspectives in life and I can’t wait to be able to do it again freely.
Have a glorious Thursday!
