I know this #tbt is just a few weeks old, but I can't stop looking at all these fun patterns and colors. Here's the back story about this set...A client approached me about her really large circular table from Restoration Hardware. The table is black with a marble top. The room was basically all black and white with a few other RH pieces. She wanted color and something fun that could be accented with decorating for the different seasons. Her favorite colors for the room were inspired by some table linens she found in France which had pink, red, and orange...so that became my mission as I tried out different combos of fabrics. There are 10 chairs here people!!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
First, we had to find the best floral. We settled on this one by @Schumacher1889 called Lansdale Bouquet because it had all the colors in it. And I knew we would have enough variety in the floral to make each of the floral chairs look unique. She liked buffalo check, so I added that to the seats of the floral chairs in green, black, orange, red, and melon. Once the floral chairs were figured out, I had to fill in the blanks with the five other chairs. The backsides were the last piece of the puzzle. As I'm doing this, I'm asking myself a series of questions. Do I have all the colors represented? Too much of one color? Enough checks, and in enough sizes? How about stripes? Dots? Geometric? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Since they will be at a round table, I designed them to sit every other one as the floral. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And friends, that's how a custom order comes to life! DM me if you are interested in a journey like this one! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is the first chair I sold after opening my Etsy shop in April 🛒. I was nervous putting it out there, but ecstatic when the order appeared on my dashboard! A major career change requires motivation and willingness to take chances, and can always benefit from encouragement from those close. Just wanted to take a moment to thank all those supporting me in this life project. You have contributed to my success in many ways 😘.
