Last month in my 20’s 😳😩🙏🏾 This year has for a fact been the year of 2020 vision. Personally, It has challenged me to view life differently, to look beyond the surface, and to appreciate things for not only what they are, but for what they can become. More importantly, the tremendous loss of life in this year has triggered a sense of urgency in me to go harder, to live life fuller, and to love on my family and friends daily with everything in me. 🙏🏾 Life as we know it will never be the same. If you don’t know Jesus, I invite you to get to know Him. Only He can help you navigate through what may seem like the most horrific year ever and yet still give you a vision and perspective that will blow your mind—that will give you hope. I’m praying for you. ❤️ #HerRedemption#GirlBoss#Queen#BlackGirlMagic#HaitianMogul#TheFutureIsFemale#JesusSaves

Last Friday I’ve launched the ‘Super Future Female’ project and I want to tell you in the coming days some more about the designs and the designers.
Kicking of with Kelli Laderer, also known as @goodvibestype! Kelli is based in New Orleans, has a BFA in Graphic Design and Printmaking and is inspired by all things positive, vibrant and fun.
Featuring vibrant colours and energetic compositions, having a strong central idea is the key to Kelli’s approach. She generally creates her work digitally using Procreate on her iPad Pro but stylistically preserves the textures and imperfections resonating with her printmaking background. Using a grid system alongside powerful, saturated colours, Kelli’s designs are both eye-catching and attention-grabbing, as well as tactile and unique. Reflected in the vibrancy of her work is her own dynamic and a positive outlook on life; her bold use of shape, lettering and colour carefully crafted to inspire and motivate.
“For the design, I used the body language of the figure to create a dynamic feel with lots of positive energy and movement. Then the circular shapes emphasize the movement too, which are an abstract reference to wheels.” - Kelli

I used to be offended by the question "who do you think you are?" until I realised that I am the woman I want to be. I am strong, smart and brave. I ask questions that make people uncomfortable. I stand up for what I believe in. I am bold, raw and real. There is a sense of unbridled liberation in owning the parts of yourself that you were told was unacceptable. In a society that expects us to hate ourselves, being comfortable with who you are, is almost seen as a form of rebellion.
Today, I welcome this question. I realise that those who pose it are often trying to mute us or dim or light merely because they are themselves consumed by the culture of patriarchy. An outdated way of thinking that wants us as (young) women to doubt whether we are worthy of the same seats at at the same tables. I believe unequivocally that I am worthy. Every day, even when the world tells me otherwise, I will continue to remind myself.
Who do I think I am? I am Nilesthra. I am flawed but fabulous. I am compassionate and courageous. Regardless of the challenges and criticism I face, still I rise. I have a voice. Hear me roar. 🖤✊🏾 #womenempowerment #thefutureisfemale#happiNess

Philia’s global discussion over the month of March was in regards to “Inviting Men as Allies to the discussion on Women Empowerment”. 🙌
Let’s not waste energy on fighting with each other – let’s fight together!
In order for all genders to be allies in the fight for equality, we need to learn each other’s languages. We need to respect and value each other equally.
We all have to unlearn the story of injustice that has been told for centuries.
The mindset of a whole culture has to change in order for all of us to truly see each other as equals.
In some way or another we all are biased and the big challenge is to change common beliefs - in ourselves as well - and to respect each other for who we are.
To truly understand each other, we need to learn each other’s languages.
What is the language of womanhood? Can we maybe achieve a common language of encouragement and understanding? If we factor this topic into the education and socialization of our children, we just might achieve this goal! 👏

As the world is still semi-paused this can cause unwanted stress. Today step away, even if for only 5 minutes to breath and take a minute of fresh air.
If you find yourself with a little more free time grab a book or practice on perfecting a recipe.
Here is a Book and Recipe to try out.

This idea comes from Glennon Doyle’s book, Untamed. This work is not meant to raise discontent but rather to be used for goals to work towards. We all know perfection is unattainable but getting close to how we want to live takes patience, courage and a good degree of self-knowledge! Go into details because those details in whatever small steps you can manage, can propel you towards your ideal life. So also, can asking for what you really want – no one can magically reads our minds. Let’s work out what that means for us and share it with those who are close. Perhaps we underestimate how much we are loved and it’s likely that loved ones want to step up if we give them the chance. Similarly, we can use boundaries to help us move closer to living that ideal life. But how can we set boundaries if we can't imagine how our lives can be better?
As I found myself on a pile of shards I tried to recollect what happened on the day, week or year before. A crystal clear image, and yet I still tried to deny that it just had been another fraction of life. Before I gave in to break down and become one with the pile, an olive skin hand gently stroke my hair. When a yellow ray of sun found it's way through a crack in the wall I realized it was the hand of my sister, my mother. It was the hand of my daughter and my best friend. It was the gentle stroke of a woman that made me realize a new day had started. A new chance had come to try again and move that mountain, to light up that sky.
I AM ALL (WO)MEN is about gender fluidity, sister / brotherhood and inclusion. In two (identical) vintage suits, Karima and Fatima Zahra are recorded as twins, who do not express the usual feminine beauty standard, but are both male and female. Simply because women can and are just about anything. The twin concept stands for sister / brotherhood and portraying a gender-neutral atmosphere means equal treatment for everyone, regardless of gender.

Picture from mine and harleys weekend. Harley cracks me up all the time. He's so my son 😂 Finishing of my night working my business. My pamper is my sacrifice. Half my nails have gone lol 😭 My sunday's use to be drink wine on my own, dance and sing around the living room till stupid o'clock then throw myself a pitty party for days. Wasting my success down the toilet. This was not the life i wanted to live anymore. I had to change everything i knew for years. To remove myself from this kind of behaviour was not easy 🙄 I use to have so much hate towards the people who hurt me in the passed and towards myself. I would sabotage my success, relationships and friendships. The self sabotage is something im still working on daily as its still a pain point of mine. It has took me years to become a better person today. Every weekend im working on myself to stay of the wine. Believing in my own self even when no one else did helped me not give up on my life.Today im...👑 Receiving collaboration messages 👑 Have multiple income streams setup 👑 0 money to my name lol 👑 Off the booze. Only recently 👑 Have my own fm business 👑 Happy and positive 👑 Great supportive family 👑 My engagement on my instagram has changed 👑 A vision, purpose and passion 👑 Own website i built with the blog 👑 I trust people again. Cheers to everyone who did not give up when it got hard, everyone who wants a better life and future. You can do it. I believe in you even if no one else does 👑

I've been able to bloom
Because of growing where I'm planted
I am beyond excited and thrilled! This has been something I’ve wanted to do for so long. I have talked myself out of it until I’ve reached the point where I’m done doubting myself. If it gains a lot of listeners great. If it doesn’t, that’s ok because it taught me something much more valuable. It taught me to believe in myself.
Click the link in my bio if you’re interested in hearing my very first introduction episode 😁

A year ago I started this with just one friend in the business. I started it because I saw her earn her free Cadillac and I thought to myself, “𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘮𝘦?” 👩🏻💻🤔💡
Fast forward to 11 months later, more than a handful of ambitious new friends, 180 Market Partners in my team, 2 free trips earned for 2020 & a free Cadillac— 𝐬𝐤𝐲’𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭, 𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐲! 💫✨
This month, @jessmrod_ and I pick up our Cadis together & we couldn’t be prouder! 💜👯♀️
