Here is the bigger picture ⛰
I switched off the panic, fear & uncertainty blaring into my home, years ago ( #byebyenews ). I stay as connected as I need to be, but I decide what to let in my home.
A morning run along the creek (this spot is 50metres from home) in the forest, and I realise that there is so much to be certain about. That familiar feeling of the Grampian’s Autumn mornings....
The smell of chimney smoke gently drifting, the feeling of cold air hitting my cheeks & nose, the lag of the sun’s first light as she slowly rises over the mountain ridge.
This is autumn 🍂
This is Home ❤️

If you’re unsure where to start, we’ve put together our #MadeTheGrampiansWay movement. Stay tuned as we share with you our unique produce, cherished local businesses and locally crafted goods available for purchase, as well as latest updates in the region. #SupportLocal#BuyLocal

Wanna go back 🙏🏼

Last night as we sat together by the fire, in isolation with the cows, listening to a large variety of music (from Credence to Prince, Tupac to Kendrick and everything in between), all I could think was that we were made for this life. There’s noone else I would rather spend every minute of every day with. Its an odd feeling to miss someone when you are just 200m away checking on the heifers for 5 minutes. Isolation for many will be a hard change to take, for us though it is so soothing and invigorating. This really is an introverts time to shine and a chance for everyone to prioritise what is important in life.
☄️Flashback to a few weeks ago☄️ After our stay in Warrnambool we headed to Old Man Emu stay under the recommendations from @wandering_aus this was definitely the spot to stay when exploring The Grampians. McKenzie Falls was one of the most beautiful waterfalls we have seen. The kids had a great time meeting new friends here some of which we had crossed paths with a number of times during our travels. We would have liked to of spent more time here but with growing news of our current situation we were reluctant to get out and do to much. #explorevictoria#thegrampians#mckenziefalls#oldmanemu#maccaslapyear#tobecontinued#wishwewerestillthere
Take a moment to breathe in the open space, clear air and serenity. Know that this is waiting for you. Located in the Northern Grampians, Lake Fyans’ pristine waters make for unspoiled mountain views while fishing for Redfin and Trout 🎣 #TheGrampiansWay#SeeAustralia#LakeFyans
⛰LIVING ON THE EDGE⛰
🇬🇧| Wow, what a guts! We can imagine that you're a bit shocked, but don't worry! Thom is doing well, according to circumstances.
After yesterday's post, many requests came in to share a picture of Thom's chimes. Since we think this is a bit weird, we have chosen this photo. We have often seen photos of people hanging on a rock by a large precipice, while they can just stand on a stone when they stretch. Well, we wanted this too. We were looking for such a dangerous place and this is the result.
Our #tinyhouse at #houndsrunrhymney . Currently it's a sanctuary for relatives who are high risk to #coronavirus however in the future it'll again be a sanctuary for anyone wishing to escape the daily grind.

We may be closed to the public but we our gardens and grounds still need our TLC.
We are all about supporting and rewarding our amazing communities and #volunteers . 💪🏽
After a lot of thought, we feel that in light of the unfolding COVID-19 pandemic, we should continue this support. As a result, we decided to keep entries open for the iconic 🌿Sustainable Communities – Tidy Towns Awards. Although the judging process and the Awards Ceremony formats may change to suit the current situation, our commitment to honouring the hard work of #communities and individuals does not. 🤗

@chefteachercatclarke we loved your Kids Cooking Class today (via Instagram Live). The pizza scrolls were so much fun to make, your instructions were easy to follow and they tasted delicious. My girls and I can't wait to join you and Paddy again tomorrow.

One of the best ways to support the region right now is buying local produce. Our friends @grampiansoliveco have some of the oldest trees in Australia from which they produce incredible olives, award winning olive oils, artisan vinegars, coffee, dukkah, honey, skincare and soaps. They have their full range avalible online including pantry packs which are the perfect care package gift for yourself or loved ones. #MadeTheGrampiansWay#SupportLocal
