Cannot express how proud I am of this legend 🙌 since coming back from his big holiday in America 🇺🇸 Tezza has worked his ass off week in week out and has managed to shed a considerable amount of body fat thanks to his incredible hard work and dedication. Tezza does a lot of djing events and still manages to enjoy himself at the weekends... He hasn't taken any money grabbing supplements or tried any miracle diets. He didn't starve himself a week before his photo or breathe in for effect. He's not clicked his fingers and just transformed over night, he's stuck to the plan, been hugely committed and focused on achieving his goals and made fitness and healthy eating a part of his lifestyle which will benefit him for years to come. Einen wunderschönen Sonntag wünsche ich euch 🤗.
Sicherlich haben alle eine anstrengende Woche hinter sich... ich kann mich nur anschließen und sagen, dass es mir nicht anders ging. Es war nicht leicht, aber wir haben es hinter uns... umso schöner ist nun das Wochenende. Schönes Wetter, viel Sonne und neue Energy für die kommende Woche.
Dieses Wochenende habe ich einen guten alten Freund getroffen. Wir haben zusammen trainiert. Wärend der Einheit, konnte man seine Motivation und Energy sehen. Ein toller Mensch - selbstbewusst, mit sich selbst im Reinen und offen für jede Herausforderung. .

How important is sleep part 1:
We are living in a society these days were lots of people are busy and feeling stressed. We are busy with school, work, family and friends and we also try to get some time for ourselves with things we like such as training, hobbies and watching Netflix? :P
To manage all these activities during the day can be difficult for a lot of people, since we only have 24 hours. To compensate for that we try cutting some hours from our sleep to be more awake to do the things we like.
But what does sleep deprivation mean for your gains? This first post will be an introduction whereas the second post will show how sleep affects a professional basketball player.
1️⃣Sleep deprivation affects your performance – If you haven’t slept enough the night before a workout or a match then your performance will be reduced in the gym and you might even skip the session because ‘’you’re feeling tired’’
2️⃣Sleep deprivation affects your recovery – During sleep your body recovers from the activities during the day, but less sleep will affect your muscle recovery and thereby affect your gains.
3️⃣Sleep deprivation can lead to more production of the hormone cortisol – the bigger amount of cortisol in your system leads to you feeling tired, stressed and weakens your immunesystem. The tiredness can lead to reduced performance in the gym (or you just not going down there) and the weakened immunsystem can lead to you getting a cold, which also results in you being sick and therefore not going to the gym.
A study tried to compare two groups of people, one group slept for 5,5 hours and the second group slept for 8 hours. The study tried to compare which effect sleep had on weight loss. Both groups lost the same amout of weight, but the group that slept 8 hours lost 55% more fat and kept 60% more muscle than the group that slept 5.5 hours.
You should therefore focus on trying to get 8-9 hours of sleep if you wanna maximize your gains

Definitely struggled today without Pre Workout, had a coffee before but it didn’t quite have the same effect and definitely felt fatigued later in my workout. -Dumbbell Chest Press (3 sets 10 reps)

I've only gone and joined a gym.
I'm allergic to gyms, why on earth have I done that...? 🤔
Because it's currently blowing a hooley, lashing it down, and dark here in Scotland, and there's wild swimming and WILD swimming... I prefer tame swimming, but seasonal shifts say NO. .
There's a pool, and classes available, well, just one variation on the classes front, Spinning for Beginners or Spinning for Advanced... . .
Last time I gave spinning a whirl, I thought the bike was broken... 🙄 wonder when Country Dancing starts again... It's open til 10.
