Do you ever get the craving to take a road trip? Sometimes exploring our own backyard can be as rewarding as travelling overseas. It helps you to see places in a new light, discover hidden gems, and along the way, you may meet some lovely people to exchange stories with. ◡̈ .
I had the opportunity to visit a couple of wineries which are a part of Shiraz Central- known for pioneering winemakers to create a new, complex, finessed yet highly approachable style of cool, spiced Australian Shiraz. Unmatched aromatics of berries and fruit introducing a mouthwatering palate of poise and beauty. Expect to taste a range of forest and orchard fruits (think berries, cherries and plums) brought to life by a tantalising array of cool spice notes.🍷
Ballarat definitely took me by surprise. I got to get up close and personal with some furry friends, looked at masterpieces at the gallery, visited two wineries, and ended the evening with delicious food to satisfy my tummy.
Why do we travel to distant countries when we haven’t even explored our own? Why not make an effort to try/see something new on your days off?! ◡̈💕
Completely forgot I had even taken this photo until Jordan reminded me about it and added it to our must print album. Just a little over a month until Jordan and I are both back in Utah. I’m ready! After our December trip, I will have been in Utah at least a day for six different months of this year. What can I say, I can’t stay away from this beautiful place. 😩

*My Face When We Discover Local Swimming Holes*
I love not having any other feelings but pure bliss when I dive into natural pure water. 💧
I remember this morning so perfectly. It was our first morning in La Fortuna after spending the whole day before traveling and figuring out local busses to get us there from the airport (which was not the easiest thing or most comfortable to do.. but that’s a story for another time 😂)
We were exhausted... yet so eager to explore. Finding this spot for a little morning dip made all of our worries go away as we swam under the morning sun. ☀️
My boyfriend and I made it our hobby to find local swimming spots and waterfalls while we explored the beautiful country of Costa Rica. 😍
I definitely cannot wait to be back there!
What makes you truly happy? 👇

On Texel, sheep graze outside pretty much all year round, but while we were going back to the docks to take the ferry, we stumbled upon a farm where they had replace sheep with llama.
It was quite a strange to meet those animals on a small Dutch island while they are usually found at high altitude in South America.
In the same way as the sheep wool, they use the llama’s wool to make different kind of products.
🇮🇹 It is with a lot of sadness I’m posting this...
💧If you have been seeing the news, Venice is currently flooded 1.87 meters (for reference, that’s taller than me)...nearly 80% of the city is flooded and they are expecting another high tide of 1.70m...climate change is very real...
☀️I was there with my son 2 weeks ago and I can’t believe what’s happening to this beautiful place (it was a pretty sight no matter where you looked!); cradle of the Renaissance and full of lovely architecture, people and food!
🙏🏻I really hope this is not the last time I have seen Venice...
B A L A N C E has been my theme word for the end of this year, and it's taught me quite a bit!
I've learned that...
* balance is rather elusive and changes on a regular basis
* that I should show myself more grace as I juggle the spectrum of life's to - do's
* and that being present in each day leads to me feeling happier, healthier, and better able to serve myself and others.

Eight mamas on vacation & one local guide who suggests heading out at 5:30 am.⠀
You should have seen how quick our sweet group leader responded: ⠀
"Not. Happening. No kids—insert sports of your choice here—? You want us to get up at 5? 🙅♀️"⠀
Guess who was on the trail at sunrise?⠀
I convinced them it'd be worth it. And I was secretly hoping that they wouldn't be too mad at me. I think most of them weren't. Most. 😅 ⠀
Psst—TBH 5:30 was a late start from a photographer standpoint. I sorta missed my desired shots but still got a couple I like!⠀
PS: when I'm told that photography is dead. That anyone can take a great picture nowadays with their iPhone: swipe left, can you spot the difference?⠀
It blows my mind that someone could actually fall asleep on the side of a cliff. This is maybe half the lights that were on earlier, but I guess by the time I got to the meadows it was passed people's bed times. #mgkra

A hike on the shoulder of the Mont-Blanc...Going to La Jonction means walking with glaciers....Magic!
Life isn't filled only with difficulty and pain. It is also filled with people whose dignity and spirit rise above their circumstances. There are situations when great sacrifice or love and wisdom turn a problem into an opportunity and a strength. If we look at what has happened in our own lives and in those of others, we have ample reason to hope. Flow from joy to joy.

Mini trip #2
When I was studying abroad in Europe, some friends and I took a road trip. One stop was Rheinfall, Switzerland 💙 even in the cold, these falls are still so beautiful to watch ☺️
I’ve spent time in the Netherlands on and off in my life. I’ve only had a day and a half in Amsterdam. The night life isn’t for me but Amsterdam in the day is so beautiful. I mean people literally pull up to cafes in their boats 💁🏻♀️ like nbd 😂 who wants to live there!? 🙋🏻♀️
What would you do when you’d see a gate with 12 dead foxes tied to it.. Would that be some kind of warning? 🤪 Did I enter through this gate or did I turn around, let me know what you think in the comments 😏 •
