What better way to spend a cool, California autumn morning than doing a good deed! It's harvest time at our one-of-a-kind Native Seed Farm and we'd love for you to join us on 10/26! We'll be harvesting seeds from native wildflowers! For more info, visit the link in our bio.
This is one of my favourite photos. It captures summer, crazy, messy and just plain beautiful. This day was definitely the pinnical of the West Coast Trail, the rain had stopped and the skies began to clear. We hiked down to the ocean to be greated by 3 humpbacks probably 30m away from the shore, just chilling out. We all sprinted down to the beach to get a glimpse of the magic for ourselves.
The hike along the beach was brutally beautiful, an hour or two reminded me of my time in the desert. I took my t-shirt off and wrapped it around my head, definitely a sexy sight.
To get to this place was stunning, to set up on the hot dry sand and to watch the sun begin to set was incredible.
We actually returned to this incredible Lake twice, because all of the imagery from our first visit to the lake was suddenly deleted!
Has this ever happened to you? This is the first time all of the imagery was deleted from my memory card, and I'm still trying to recover the files 📸📸 #bluntautal#austria 🇦🇹 #austriagram
It feels like the roads struggle to keep up with the never ending mountain ranges in Lofoten. We had just come down from our first ascent on a nearby mountain but had to stop on the way out to enjoy this incredible view. If you zoom in you might be able to spot some of the numerous tents that were occupied by trad climbers resting before attempting famous routes such as svenskeveggen and pianokrakken - both of them are visible here. Next year I hope to be in one of those tents myself.

I ta ogromna radość, kiedy mówi: - Tak! To wiedzcie, że to my suszyliśmy włosy!
This moment when you finally decide to take care of luxury in the mountains🏔 and decide on camping. You ask the guard in the booth about the price, conditions, but the most important is this luxury! You know, september days in the Dolomites had +20 Celsius degrees during the day, but the nights were cold ❄️It was hard to pitch our tent 🏕@fjordnansen🖤without gloves. There was even ice on the walls of the tent in the morning. It was cold! So you ask the man in the booth about this luxury : - Is there a hair dryer? And this great joy when he says: - Yes! And it's a huge disappointment when you go to the bathroom and the dryer doesn't work 🤣But you have to deal with it. How will the videos get strange people crouching and bending under hand dryers at the International Camping Olympia in Cortina d'Ampezzo. Then know that we were drying our hair!
Last light strike in one of my favourite locations 🤗 Weekend is pretty close, what's your plans? Who is in the Dolomites? 😜

“I was dreaming about a photo like this since I’ve been to this place first time about 3 years ago - unfortunately conditions never allowed me to. This weekend I hiked there again and when we started in a thick cloud I was super frustrated. We reached the ridgeline and had roughly 2m visibility combined with an uncomfortable bone freezing wind.
But something made us wait for over 2h behind some small rocks giving us a little shelter. And it was worth it - I couldn’t believe my eyes when the clouds began to form like I always dreamed of. The moment last for around 20 min and I finally had the chance to get my shot” ✨

Some places just silence you.
When we were in the French Alps we took a little roadtrip through the parc du #Mercantour .
It was early evening and we got stuck in a severe rainstorm. We even had to stop driving because the roads were flooding.
I can assure you that driving the Col d’ Allos wasn’t our first choice anymore ... especially since we were reaching the highest point: 2250 metres. But it was equally crazy to turn back and take the other road (3h30 vs 45min), so we continued very careful.
While we were ascending we got so blown away with what we saw: thousands of sheep running over the mountains and the roads, breathtaking views behind every sharp turn. Needless to say we spent more time outside the car than inside.
The planned 45 min turned in more than 2 hours. But two hours of great joy and astonishing disbelief of what we were encountering!
Best was: we had the whole mountainpass to ourselves. Due to the horrific weather nobody was on the streets.
Quante volte vi è capitato di voler andare in montagna, ma essere incastrati in città?
A noi sta succedendo in questi giorni e quindi ci conosoliamo con le foto dell’estate.
How many times did happen to you that you’d like to be in the mountains but instead you’re stuck in the city?
This is what is happening to us right now, so we take comfort in those summer poctures!

On the very first day of the trip, I left my place on Vancouver Island at 5am in order to catch the earliest ferry to Vancouver and then send it to the Rockies. My plan was to drive all day and hopefully arrive in Yoho before sunset. At first, it seemed pretty easy, but with all the stops we had to make for the dog, food, and gas; the time I originally had slowly began to run out. Thankfully though, I managed to get to Natural Bridge and Emerald Lake just 30 minutes before sunset. And I'm glad that I did, because we got one of the best sunsets from the whole trip while we were here. Well worth the full day of driving. 🚗💨
