Earlier this year I was not allowed into a facility to visit a very special hospice patient, just because I was a pitbull. Even though dad has all my certifications, id badges, and I was wearing my fancy vest, they didn’t want to let me in based on my appearance. When he finally convinced them to let me visit one very special patient, they asked us to walk outside around to the back of the building ,in 100+ heat, to an entrance away from patients. Well months later I am not letting judgement and breed discrimination stop me from working my magic. I always tell my student friends that there will be roadblocks, but you must conquer them the bravest and best way you can. 🤟🏻🐾❤️ #therapydog#pitbulldiscrimination#hospice#makeadifference#deaf#deafdog
Pored toga ona obožava decu i odrasle.
what I can say with confidence now that I’ve made it through is that everything happens for a reason. and the reason I got so sick was because I needed the little extra push to remember my own strength and become the greatest and strongest version of myself.
Lucy met with #animalcommunicator Marcia Zais yesterday. Marcia did some #energywork on her neck and shoulder while we sat and breathed. Animal Communicators get messages the same as human mediums: pictures, words, symbols and felt sense.
She didn’t have much to say. Apparently, I need to prepare better questions. She likes her food, and she also likes having a job. The funniest thing that came out of the session was Lucy referring to the cat as “a commoner” who doesn’t deserve to take over the place of her old cat. I never mentioned [to marcia] the ongoing feud between Lucy and my cat. Marcia was also able to suggest some natural remedies to support Lucy.
Whether you believe in it or not, animal communicators exist. This particular one came highly recommended so I wanted to see what she had to say. I’m not sure it was useful any more than I’m sure her last vet visit was useful, but I’m glad we know it’s another option. #shihtzu#dogsofinstagram#energyiseverything#therapydog#alternativehealth#findyourtribe #exploreeverything
This is what you look like when you get too close to the backs of sheep while herding them … 😂

Not child related, but a sad story with a happy ending 🥰 ⠀
I always talk about meningitis in my classes and the signs and symptoms to look out for.... But I didn’t realise that even our fur babies can contract it 😔⠀
Say hi to Narla, the gorgeous pup & therapy dog who belongs one of our Daisies friend. She fell ill on Saturday, and ended up refusing to move and whimpering.
After being rushed to the vets she was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis 😥 Saturday night was a huge worry for the family as she became worse and had a really high temperature, she couldn’t even lift her head.
They were expecting to have to make a tough decision the next morning and were worried sick about the poor pup. However, after a night on antibiotics she started to stabilise the next day and improved quickly after that 😊 after 3 days in doggy hospital she is now back home, a bit skinnier but healthy and happy ❤️❤️❤️⠀

I’m not a dog person.... BUT this little s**t as he’s most commonly known, has somehow penetrated my heart. He’s naughty, greedy, annoying and needy, but he’s also incredibly soft, loving, cute and funny. He’s played a massive part in helping Rosie on a daily basis as her companion, friend and is a constant source of amusement to her. He’s two on Monday, not an age I thought he’d ever reach when he’s under my feet tripping me up and constantly begging for food. So I’m not so much a dog person now, more of a Beau person. @beaudog2018#mecfsawareness#chronicillness#therapydog#notreallyadogperson
