Bucket List- Day 4
The Twelve Apostles: Victoria, Australia.
I have been and seen the 12 Apostles countless times and I never get bored of the views and the tranquility they bring. This photo is of Gog and Magog- at the base of the Gibson steps. You can park your car at the Gibson Steps car park or make your way from the 12 Apostles and walk the one kilometre to Gibson Steps, departing from the back of the kiosk. The path passes under the Great Ocean Road near the Gibson Steps viewing platform and beach access.
I want to see some of your photos! #bucketlist#the12apostles#thetwelveapostles#greatoceanroad#roadtrip#australia#wonder#wonderlust#portcampbell#gibsonsteps#share
The Twelve Apostles is a collection of limestone stacks off the shore of Port Campbell National Park, by the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia 🇦🇺 The Twelve Apostles were formed by erosion. The harsh and extreme weather conditions from the Southern Ocean gradually erode the soft limestone to form caves in the cliffs, which then become arches that eventually collapse, leaving rock stacks up to 50 m (160 ft) high. The stacks are susceptible to further erosion from waves. In July 2005, a 50-metre-tall (160 ft) stack collapsed, leaving seven standing at the Twelve Apostles viewpoint.
Due to wave action eroding the cliffs, existing headlands are expected to become new limestone stacks in the future.

2 years ago, I quit my 2nd job in Australia, than straight away from NSW state to go VIC by long way drive. The purpose was to go VIC state explore everything unknown and to seek a new job, therefore it was a very big decision to me. -
However, the reality was curel, I ran out almost half of my budget on fuel, hotel, and pre paid 3 weeks accommodation deposits, but still got nothing. Finally, I reveived a job notify from a guy which located at NSW, so without any thinking, I returned to NSW
Of course, it was a long way drive again😵 -
But there was a epic landscape truely shocked me which called Great Ocean Road, I really love the ocean color & shape of rocks. If never made this insane decision, I would never seen this beautiful landscape by my eyes

The first thing that pops in my mind is:
I was here!
My point is #iwashere is a great track by #beyonce #Playlist for amusement, actually sheer brilliance. Deeply influenced by #emotions . Not everyone's cup of tea. Listen at your own risk.
Continuing on the Great Ocean road and on the list today is the Twelve Apostles. It’s a MUST see when your on this road trip and for me it was a huge let down. It’s true that I remember only one thing from that stop and it wasn’t the beauty of the landscape.

Forget the view...let’s talk about the dress!! This dress is from the label Ghanda. An Australian clothing brand that was developed in Torquay, a surfing town at the start of the Great Ocean Road. I knew about Ghanda before I started my GOR trip and desperately wanted to get a piece of clothing from there to say I bought it where it originated from. But I do try to live as sustainably as I can and I don’t ever buy my clothing new if I can help it. On my last day in Torquay I went op shopping and found this beautiful Ghanda dress, it also just happened to fit perfectly. It was meant to be! And at only $8 it was an absolute steal. To buy new it would have maybe been around $60. I couldn’t believe my luck.
That's it I've had enough,I'm off!🙈
Holy moly the world has gone insane. It's like someone's taking the absolute piss and we're actually in a movie.. Just waiting for the Zombies to appear any minute🧐😜
There's so much negativity going on right now, a lot of worry and anxiety as to what's going to come in the near future which is all understandable, but we have no control over this however we do have control over our actions now! 💪🏼
Go do something for you today, something positive(while social distancing the hell out of it of course)!
Tag me in all the positive things you guys are getting up to during lockdowns on your stories and I'll share them!!💜

Now Discovering The Twelve Apostles in Victoria, Australia, with @lifeofjira.
The Twelve Apostles is a collection of limestone stacks off the shore of Port Campbell National Park, by the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. Their proximity to one another has made the site a popular tourist attraction. Seven of the original eight stacks remain standing at the Twelve Apostles viewpoint, after one collapsed in July 2005. #thediscoverer#nowdiscovering
Bit of a moody one to show you guys just how grey it was when I visited this iconic attraction, but it’s still a beauty even on the worst of days!
Did you know that these rock stacks used to be called piglets?🐷 But when they were officially renamed the 12 Apostles by the tourism industry, there were only 9 stacks in the cluster🤷🏽♀️
Today, you’ll only be able to spot 8 from the viewpoint, since one of them sadly collapsed way back in 2005. And with erosion from waves and weather continuing to threaten these formations, who knows what this coastal landscape will look like years down the line #australiatraveltrails
