oh hebejeebers. when i met you, you were the angriest little ball of fur i ever did meet. but little by little you’ve opened up to me and showed me just how much love you got in that little pea brain of yours. after bailey i was seriously not sure how i would ever welcome a second dog into my home. i knew i’d want another, but there was a bit of concern that i wouldn’t love you two the same. flash forward to now, and there isn’t anything i wouldn’t do for you. i’ve said it a million times, but i wish i had you as a puppy. i wish i could’ve had you for the first 6 years of your life. oh the things we could’ve done together. but there’s no point in thinking about the past. i’ll simply focus on making the rest of your life as enjoyable as possible. here’s to many more snow trips, beach days, fetchies and being forced to cuddle by bailey who loves you as much as i do. happy 7th birthday hebejibi. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #happybirthday#blackgsd#germanshepherd
i’m not exactly known for pretty bowls or for being some nutrition expert, though my major has made me take a fair share of courses in that realm. but here’s dinner for the girls tonight. is it the perfect raw meal? no. am i learning more and feeding better as i go? yeah. do i preach that everyone should feed raw? no. sometimes i really don’t want to meal prep and sometimes my family gets irritated by the amount of meat and organs that i bring home for the dogs. but i do it anyways, cause i can and cause i want to try and give them the best i can. god knows these two mischievous girls do everything for me, so i why not return the favor?
