Happy First Day of Fall Yall!
This post is shamelessly personal, so feel free to scroll on, but if you or anyone you know is having trouble having kids or living with PCOS please read on.
September is dedicated to raising awareness of PCOS, which is short for PolyCystic Ovary Syndrome. It is one of the most common hormonal endocrine disorders in the US affecting between 5 and 10 percent of women of childbearing age. It comes with a lot of unwanted side effects, including irregular periods, weight gain, hair growth, skin breakouts but the hardest one is difficulty conceiving.
I'm sharing this picture to give hope and encouragement to anyone in the same situation knowingly or unknowingly living with PCOS. If this applies to you personally, seek out an attentive Dr. sooner than later. This is not something that you can control or change on your own, get professional help! I wish I had known sooner, and taken action immediately, but I am also extremely thankful that God used that challenge to bring his presence into my life in a powerful way. And of course, the little guy in this picture is an incredible reminder of His grace!

“A penny for your thoughts” on how you stay focused?????
For me today, besides regular work (coachings and working on a film script), I’m consumed with organizing and planning...rigorously attempting to be laser focused and not get distracted (which is so easy nowadays, hello Netflix and Insta I’m talking to you! 🤣...and if anyone is really paying attention you’ll notice here I am literally on insta writing about “not” being on insta) #thestruggleisreal
Can it be as simple as sometimes putting your phone on airplane mode? 🤪
