I want to answer the question I KNOW that’s ringing around in your head if you’re considering joining The Time Management Accelerator for Music Mavens…
How do I know that this is worth the investment and that I will see results? 🤔
👉🏻Two words: TIME MANAGEMENT & CONSISTENCY.
And...I've been where you are.
Over the years, these are the two elements that I've realized have tied everything together. Without these two essential things, my music career would not be where it is right now.
Many coaches will teach you how to do the things you need to do to be a successful musician, but if you don't do them CONSISTENTLY or manage your TIME EFFECTIVELY, you ain't going nowhere! 🙅🏻
I noticed there was a gap in the music industry market for a course like this - so that's why I created it! Because as musicians we NEED it.
👈🏻Swipe Left to see some of my first IG posts that I did...they were all pretty inconsistent and I didn't post very often. I also was ONLY showing the music side and not much of me.
Once I started sharing authentically and vulnerably about more of my life, struggles, and how I got from point A to point B, people resonated with me much more and realized I was just like them! It became about not being afraid to share the ups and downs🤪
It meant not being a carbon copy of other musicians, even if what they’re doing is mega-popular. It meant embracing your quirks and letting them help grow your business with you 👊🏻
👉🏻Inside The Time Management Accelerator for Music Mavens, you’re going to get amazing strategies. That’s a given.
👏🏻But you’re also gonna get permission to be fully yourself. There’s no pretending to be perfect here. (and you know as musicians, we have a tendency to do that. 🙄 #guilty )
If you have any questions, simply shoot me a DM! 🙌🏼 (And click the link in my bio to enroll)

Nine months ago, I posted a bit of my story... the reason behind the name "Buoyant." I know many of you are new here and I would love to share that part of my story again so you can get to know me better.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌟 "To say I am elated that my business has taken off is an understatement. I can provide for my family and community in bigger ways than I ever dreamed and it's all because I was willing to LET GO. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was willing to let go of the iron grip I had on all the plans in my life. I let go of the career I thought I should have, never got, and held grudges about. My career didn't go as I planned.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I let go of the angst I felt over my physical and mental health... of my imperfect body. My youthful lifestyle didn't go as planned. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I let go of the envy I felt after losing both of my parents in a few years. Seeing my friends have babies and rejoice as their parents become doting grandparents was painful. My childbearing years didn't go as planned.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I let go of the shame I felt from failing in my first (and extremely expensive) business over the span of a few years. I would have loved for my hard work to pay off. My art business didn't go as planned.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I've learned the more I micromanage my life and cling onto what I think *should* be happening, I lose sight of the bigger picture and the beautiful lessons I learn along the way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
By letting go of the anchor of control holding me down, I have risen to the surface and I can breathe. I can finally feel calm, soak in the warm glow of the sun, and just breathe. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am buoyant." 🌟⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Let's just say the last nine months have been an incredible learning process for me. I have practiced day-in and day-out how to trust my intuition, how to be patient, and how to give myself grace. That last one is definitely new to me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here's to another amazing year ahead! 🥂🥂🥂

How To Reduce Stress During The Holiday Season With 14 Time Management Tips ⏱️ The holiday season is a great time to put these skills to the test! ▶Tip 2 of 14
2. PLAN YOUR SHOPPING TRIPS 🛒🛍️ As I mentioned a couple of days ago, as the holiday and break seasons hit, it gets harder and harder to do those “5-minute store runs”. Planning your shopping trips is key! 🗺️ Try to choose the slowest times of the day to shop for your full list. Avoid the weekend rush and the after 5 crowds if possible.
Take note 🗒 of when stores are busy and avoid shopping at those times to make the best use of your time.
If you need to go in during the busy time be prepared to wait. Remember we may need to be more patient and more kind while waiting. 🤗
Ask yourself: What time in your area should you avoid the stores? 👇Comment below when is the BEST Time to shop in your hometown? 🕚
I'll be sharing 14 ways to reduce stress during the holidays so stay tuned 👀
Have you come across certain people who act like being busy is a badge of honor that makes them look and feel important?
We all have the same 24-hours a day. Therefore, it is up to you to decide whether you want to utilize these 24-hours, or you just want to “spend” your day aimlessly. There is also a saying that – what we spend our time on is what our priorities are. Are you clear on the priorities in your life? Do you allocate the right amount of time to accomplish what you need to with your priorities?
Time management, when done right, has a number of prominent advantages:
“Efficiency is doing things right; effectiveness is doing the right things.” – Peter Drucker
“There is never enough time to do everything, but there is always enough time to do the most important thing.” — Brian Tracy
⏳Helps you focus on your priorities...
“If you want to make good use of your time, you’ve got to know what’s most important and then give it all you’ve got.” — Lee Iacocca
⏳Helps you procrastinate less... “Don’t be fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days in the year as you make use of. One man gets only a week’s value out of a year while another man gets a full year’s value out of a week.” — Charles Richards
⏳Waste less time and gain more free time... “You gotta make it a priority to make your priorities a priority.” — Richie Norton

There is extraordinary value in this presentation that you do NOT want to miss!
⌚️3 HOURS & 53 MINUTES⌚️
This is a major productivity concept that you want in your tool belt of understanding.
Studies show THIS (3 Hours & 53 Minutes) is the average brain’s MAXIMUM output of focused productivity output per day.
And no, it is not all at one time.
(And lindalisten, this should also not be an excuse for you not doing or completing the needed project you have…that’s called procrastination and we will talk about that at a later date.)
When your brain has made too many decisions or goes too long without a break, that’s when your brain ‘fog’ + overwhelm happen on a CHEMICAL level.
This brain’ fog’ totally sucks because it feels like you become stagnant, ineffective, and unable to create.
Powering through a work day creates brain fatigue. And working more than a 40 hour work week creates chemical stress on your brain that has an inverse relationship on your effectiveness and output.🚫
Of your typical 8-hour work day, you have access to almost 4 hours of problem-solving/deep work, creative, and connection time. The other hours breakdown into meetings, water-cooler talk or office ‘drama’, distraction.
Ever experience when you work a shorter day and actually get MORE done?
This is why.
When you capitalize + create boundaries around your 3 Hours & 53 Minutes, you eliminate distractions, forgo procrastination, get shit done, and then you go PLAY.
I’ll tell you that if you work a 50 hour or more week, you are only as effective as someone who worked for 23 hours.
❌Quantity does not equal Quality.
❌Busy does not equal Successful.
Create time boundaries around how and when you are working.
Give yourself limits on how much time you’re spending truly doing busy or distracting work.
And remember that Done is better than Perfect.
🌟More on that tomorrow.🌟

Season 1 of Becoming Buoyant has officially wrapped up and I am beyond grateful for everyone who has tuned in, cheered us on, and has written a review. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I read each and every one of them and save them as a screenshot on my phone. I know... I'm sure that sounds kind of lame because I bet the celebrity podcasters don't do this, but my podcast is still young and I want to savor every moment of it. I was to treasure all of the sweet notes and reviews from my small but mighty audience. You are all friends to me, not just a subscriber count. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you have been planning to give me a few stars or write a review, I would appreciate it so much! Head over to your favorite podcast platform, search for "Becoming Buoyant," hit subscribe and leave a review. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Preparation is SO key! I’ve been slacking hard on the nutrition wagon lately but today I made a choice.
I knew I needed to go right from work to Lindsay to make it in time to teach my classes.
Instead of buying food on the way, I brought my dinner to heat up and also brought all of my teaching stuff with me. It all sat in the car while I was at work and I still made it in time!
Yes making lifestyle changes requires a bit of prep and planning but it pays off! Day by day, making small changes truly adds up to big results. Just a few weeks ago I would have totally just bought food on the way because it was “easier.” You are capable of planning ahead to reach your goals. Side note: that taco quinoa bake I have been literally eating all week for dinner is delishhhhh 😍😍😍 .
NJM is looking for a Property Damage Representative who has excellent communication skills as well as strong organizational and time management skills. We are looking for talent with and without prior experience in the insurance industry.

This is the secret to creating a new habit that actually sticks💯
It’s so straight forward that your 2020 New Year’s Resolutions have no choice but to work.
You could even start now.
What is one habit you are wanting to add to your routine?
Most habits I see revolve around spiritual development (which is so important to do daily).
❕The easiest way to start a new habit is…to attach it to an existing one❕
You brush your teeth every morning. Add your new habit RIGHT after you brush your teeth.
What is the habit you want to do more of? What is something you already do regularly?
✅Marry the two together!✅
Here is an example// one of my students goes for a run daily and wants to become a more consistent meditator. As soon as she walks back into the house post-walk, she is consumed into the house-chaos. SO, before she walks in the door, she stops on the front porch, sits, and meditates for 5 minutes.
Here is the formulaic approach.
Existing Habit = Running🏃🏼♀️
Change in State = Walking Through the Front Door🏠
New Habit = Meditation🧘🏼♀️
New Habit exists when you do the Existing Habit and insert the New Habit RIGHT BEFORE the Change in State.
Running → Meditation → Walking Through the Front Door
Implementing a new habit does not have to be hard. It has to be smart.🙋🏼♀️💯✅
As a working mom, managing your time is often at the top of your list. The holiday season is a great time to put these skills to the test! ▶️4 REASONS WHY PLANNING & TIME MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES ARE ESSENTIAL!⬅️ ✔️1.YOUR WORK HOURS INCREASE⏱️ During the holiday season all the deadlines need to be met and the pressure increases, often calling for longer and busier days.
Combine that with the fact people are booking time off which means you are either picking up their slack or it is 100 times harder to schedule meetings.
It can be a difficult and frustrating balancing act. ✔️2. FAMILY OBLIGATIONS INCREASE 🏘️ During the holiday (and even other breaks!) the sheer amount of family, career, and homeschooling events you are expected to attend can knock your socks off!
Don’t forget the pressure to see and visit with every single relative, long lost friend, and childhood classmate you haven’t seen since high school… and keeping it all sorted becomes a full-time job. ✔️3. EVERYTHING TAKES TWICE AS LONG
Running into the store pick up milk for your kiddo’s breakfast? Think again!
During the holiday season stores are packed! Crowds increase and you can count on long lines at the checkout, gas station, post office and anywhere else you needed to go. ✔️4. STRESS LEVELS INCREASE 😩
Unfortunately all of the above might have you feeling stressed beyond belief!
Tell me: Which one of these is the hardest for you to cope with? 👇👇 Comment below!
I'll be sharing 14 ways to reduce stress during the holidays so stay tuned 👀
#planningtime#timemanagementskills #browsminsk

Every new year is a chapter✨ We are 3.5 weeks away from a brand new decade. Have you taken the time to reflect on 2019?
Take a second & think about where you were the first week of January 2019 & how EXCITED you were to crush your goals, have a clean slate, & improve in all aspects of your life.
But in order to take advantage of that clean slate & to improve you needed to put in the time. The time to read, study, listen, get uncomfortable, meet new people, go to a personal development event, & build new relationships.. but the question is: did you do it? How did you use your time this year?
So if you didn’t accomplish all the things you said you were going to do, what did you do with that time? Binge watch Netflix, scroll on IG? Trust me babe I get it, down time is good for the soul but we need to stop turning our down time into all of the time. So how are you going to start using your time to finish off 2019?
Don’t wait until 2020 to change. If you’re not willing to do it now, you are not going to end up doing it in 2020. If it was really that important to you then you wouldn’t wait until January 1st to do it, you would start now.
Let’s stop fooling ourselves & get committed to accomplishing our goals. We all want to achieve our goals in 2020 but let’s start wanting them so bad we start going after them now! So ask yourself: what can you do today to better manage your time? Do something today your 2020 self will thank you for💛

Just because you can *write* your own sales copy doesn’t mean you should *publish* it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now hear me out, friend. I would love to write your launch copy for you, but I totally get why you would want to do it yourself. You’re a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of girl. You’ve worked ridiculously hard for your money and don’t quite feel ready letting go of it to hire a copywriting pro. I’ve got your back. I’ll show you how to review the copy you’ve already written and make sure it’s going to serve you well. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⌛HOW to create more TIME for YOURSELF ⌛
I wish I had one more hour in the day....
I wish I could got xyz in...
I wish I could start a new hobby...
I wish I could start reading a book
But I just don't have the time for it.
We have all said something along those lines.
And these are my top tips for creating more time for yourself.
1. Write down what it is you want to do in that time for yourself. Sometimes we actually have so much spare time but because we don't know what we want to do with it, we end up wasting it or aimlessly scrolling on our phones. For example, I want to start reading a book.📕
2. Carve out a 15 minute slot for this activity and make sure it is already linked to something you are already doing e.g. finish preparing food THEN start reading a book⏲️
3. Keep a time audit for yourself for 1 week.
On an A4 paper wrote down exactly what you do for every hour of the day. At the end of the week, see what activities or times you feel are taking time away from you.⏱️
4. Start with one of those things and choose to do something else instead in that time. This might be difficult but watch out for my post on willpower coming soon.🌟
5. Get up early. I know it sounds too simple. But honestly. This time last year I would start the day at 5.00am everyday and it felt incredible. By the time it was 9:00am I had done what would normally take me 2 or 3 days to do! Your brain is the most alert at this time so it's a prime time for learning, creating or anything else you want to do.🕓
Let me know which tip you found most useful and what you would love to do if you had more time!
Hello everyone 💕 Hope you all have an amazing and productive weekend! •
I’ve been wanting to talk to you about time management and my tips & tricks. I think now is the perfect time since I’m already getting used to this semester new routine.
1. I always use Google Calendar as my master agenda. I have my school calendar there, I made another different calendar for my class schedule, other for assignments, test, events, workout, and study time. This way I can time block and use those specific hours to get things done. I’ve found that doing this helps me to stop procrastinating, because I’m so busy with all the things I need to get done and with classes, that I don’t have any spare time to lose, and also be realistic with yourself and take some time and breaks in between. My mostly everyday routine is: I wake up at 5:30am, workout from 6-7am, from 7-8am I shower and eat breakfast, 8-10am I study for GRE, then free time, from 12-6 pm I’m in class, then I eat dinner and study with breaks in between until 10pm, and finally go to sleep. .*...*...*...*...*...*...*...*
2. I also use a planner so I can write down what specific things I need to get done throughout the day. I’m using my own digital bujo that I created (if you’re interested there’s a link in my bio). I like being creative with it and making to do lists, goals of the week, and writing reflections. If you prefer using physical planner I recommend getting a small and not so heavy one that you can easily carry everywhere. This way you can write down everything right away, instead of writing things later when you get home, because you take the risk of forgetting something.

How do you manage your time to get more done and see more results?
👇Drop your best time management advice.👇
Here are 3 strategies to manage your time and maximize your results:
1. Begin with the end in mind. Perhaps this has become a cliche to some of you, but this first strategy is still gold, to say the least. When you have a vision of what you want to achieve, you know which steps you will focus your time and energy on compared to not having an idea where you're going or why you do what you do.
2. Confront distractions. You have to be honest with yourself and know when enough is enough. You want to get things done and see results? Confront your distractions and keep them under control before they control you!
3. Evaluate your results. One way or another, you will get results. When this time comes, you need to sit down and evaluate them. Are these results what you're aiming for? If not, what have you done wrong in the process? Do you need to change an action? Do you need to change connections?
Whatever you do, whatever strategies you use, if you can't manage your time, you cannot maximize your results! If you cannot maximize your results, the success you're desperate to achieve will be harder to reach.
