This week's restaurant of the week is Bloomsbury's @master.wei.3150 - a gem specialising in delights from China’s Shaanxi province. "The absolute book-the-top-floor-of-the-hotel-for superstar dish of the night is a plate of Xi’an liangpi noodles. For £7.90, you got an enormous bowl of cold hand-cut noodles, some in clumpy shapes, some more distinctly noodle-y. Then layers of texture and taste, from spongy tofu to fragrant sesame, from crisp beansprouts to juicy strips of cucumber, plus a sauce that had tang and heat and a little bit of vinegary acidity," says food editor Tania Ballantine.

See those windows up at the very top? 👀 That was our flat. Our teeny little humble abode when we lived in London (that cost more than any other place I've ever lived in in my whole life, mind you). My heart kind of aches a little when I look at this picture. 💗 I could almost cry thinking about being reunited with this little neighborhood and lifestyle next month - just for a visit, we're not moving back!
Not going to lie, friends, if you follow along while we're visiting London I will be doing 𝟎 touristy things. I'm just looking forward to hitting up my favorite restaurants and local spots, seeing friends, going on runs through Holland Park, and shopping the Notting Hill flea.
It has been a while since I posted something on Instagram!
The past month has been quite overwhelming for me given my parents were here in London to visit me (it had been 10 months since I last saw them). The past month I was totally busy adulting and vacationing :'). I explored a lot many countries actually with my family and have loads of photos (yes your Instagram feed will be full of my photos for the next few weeks like before :p) Loved each moment of it and it just made me feel that distance makes the heart grow fonder - well only in some cases :p
This isn't 'notzarella'. This isn't 'fake cheese'. This is an evolution. Mozzarella 2.0. Healthier, tastier, more sustainable than traditional dairy-based mozzarella. Looking the part too in this photo from @antieatmeatclub. #PlantPioneers
