It's been a while since I had time to work on the bus but I'm back at it now. Follow my other account @nordbuilt to see the latest deck I just completed.
So here's where we're at with Chancho. Insulation is finished and the subfloor has been laid. I started working on plumbing the fresh water tanks today and finishing up some framing along the side walls. The tanks will be under my bed in the back. There are two 46 gal tanks that will be plumbed together for 92 gallons of fresh water. I bought a Seaflo 3 gal/min 45psi DC pump and a Seaflo pressurized accumulator tank along with a water filter and @campluxlife 2.64 gal/min tankless water heater. Hoping that system will be good enough for me 🤞
So, I'm kinda winging it at this point. Don't feel like I have a solid gameplan. Still don't know what I'm finishing the walls (leaning towards rustic pallet wood) and ceiling (maybe thin ply) with. Also, don't know where I'm putting the circuit breaker or where outlets and lights are going. Lots of this 🤔🤔🤔 happening right now. So things will be moving slow until I come up with a solid plan.
Started planning and pricing out a solar system and that's not going to be cheap. A large system that I want in order to run a 9000 btu mini split a/c is going to cost me around $10k. That includes (4) 190watt panels, (3) 100amp hour lithium batteries, battery monitor, a 3000watt inverter, 230amp alternator charging kit, plus all the right sized cables, nuts and bolts. And even with all that, I'll only be able to run the a/c for a few hours a day. Long story short I'm accepting donations from friends and family and strangers or sponsorships... Cough cough cough Garrett @amsolaroregon 🙏
But I've got my health, my dog and my surfboards so all is good over here 🤙😃.

Falk looking like a beast with the windows tinted.
We used the brand Altrex from @supercheap_auto
👉🏼Spray lots of soapy water on sheet of tint and window before pressing the two together. Then spray more on before squeegeeing.
👉🏼Buy a proper squeegee - the first half we did with a bank card which was doable but much quicker with the squeegee
👉🏼The instructions in the box said to cut a paper template first, we just measured and cut the sheet a bit bigger and then trimed with a Stanley knife/blade
We were dreading this job but it turned out to be much easier than we thought

This is Nadia’s Tiny Appalache built for her by @latinyhouse in France. The stunning build features one of the best living room arrangements I’ve seen with a partial-loft (plenty of headroom!) with a sectional sofa and a hidden guest room tucked underneath!
The main bedroom is located in the loft, and there’s also a full kitchen and 3/4 bathroom. Nadia chose a tiny house so she could move closer to family, and now she has a place to read books (her passion) and welcome guests.

Thank you to all of those who reached out this past month in regards to the sale of our tiny house! After careful consideration Ken and I have decided to reduce the price to $78,000. This still includes the home being fully furnished. We love our little home and want to find the perfect individual(s) for it to love it as much as we do! If you’re curious about living tiny don’t hesitate to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org ! While we will miss our home deeply we are excited for the next step in life with our new van! Please share this post :)

It may be "tiny", but there aren't many sacrifices you have to make when cruising around in one of our Kokosing models.
This build, Domino, is a beautiful build that isn't too tough on the budget!
