Bending the rules here, but it’s a sculpture at least. This appeared in front of the Castle Garden Bazaar a few days back. I thought it was just a guy standing on a bus (I had a side view) until he slid out of view in a crazy electric slide kinda way. It was only when I went round the front that I saw how he did it.
Thanks to @zubreczkidavid (follow him) for his help in finding info on this one. It’s a work by Czech sculptor Lukáš Rittstein called simply “Tour” and is here as part of Art Market Budapest. It may be gone soon so visit fast.
The sun was setting and casting pink hues on the Pest side so we crossed the bridge to watch. However, the sun set much earlier than anticipated. It dawned on us that we have been traveling long (and far) enough to watch sunsets at 10 pm now dwindle down to 7:45 pm. Where did the time go? 3 months in Europe all came to an end, with Budapest being a strong finish! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #stahleckersabbatical#budapest#budapesttravel#todobudapest#igershungary

On the corner of Vaci utca and Kigyo utca the familiar Nude Boy stands on a dried up fountain.
It’s pretty well-known but there doesn’t seem to be much of a story behind it. It was created by acclaimed Hungarian sculptor Béni Ferenczy in 1977.

We have a logo! Thanks to my wonderful fiancée @j9sharabiart of @twodeskstudio for designing our new emblem, which combines the colours of the city with one of its most famous statues.
Bring on the badges, tote bags and stickers! (maybe, one day)
