Our need to escape, even for a short time, is a common bond we all share, don’t you think?
Especially now, in our chaotic and busy world, where our lives are even more public and interconnected than ever before. We crave the need to unplug. To find quiet spaces that will help us relax and rejuvenate.
Just slayed a webinar on Christmas. CHRISTMAS. 130+ on live at 1am on CHRISTMAS......... ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY ON CHRISTMAS ARE YOU SERIOUS?????? I mean if you have ever heard of something like that...... LET ME KNOW....🤯 We are coming into 2020 full steam ahead. So damn happy and whole and I Thank God for this moment.... ⠀
For most they don’t know but Christmas is the hardest day of the year for me right now. Family is completely split, don’t even get to spend it with mom or brother or grandfather but that’s a CHOICE tbh. I know I’m going through pain right now for a reason but I’m CHOOSING to suffer in the short term to live in paradise over the long term. I thought I was getting “numb” to the missing feeling of my family but I found out lately I just stopped living in my current reality. I’m living in my vision right now and it’s so beautiful and I’m celebrating that 💙 Pastor Collin said yesterday to celebrate in your struggle because you’re celebrating you’ll NEVER be there again. I know in my HEART, and that’s a very very VERY strong feeling, that I and ATM’s will NEVER feel like this in the holidays ever again. #mycanadianphotos#canada_photolovers#ig_canada#ontario_advantures#beautifulcanada#tourcanada#explorecanada#thecanadacollective#livelovecanada#raw_canada#gaylife#gaytraveling#gayman#gayguy#imagesofcanada#pockets_canada#discovercanada#igcanada

We are almost through the holidays here in a couple weeks..... Talked to an individual yesterday at Starbucks who owns and runs a couple restaurants here local in the DFW... 🙏🏻 ⠀
He looked beat down and barely hanging in there stressed. I said “bro bro we almost through the slow season...” ⠀
He said “I know man, it’s time to put it in overdrive now, we started 2020 yesterday”⠀
This conversation really put it into perspective for me how many industries and businesses it’s technically “slow” season for. ⠀
Shoutout to the ones showing up every day to the MF plate swinging regardless of the pitch...⠀
Shoutout to the ones showing up for their family... 💯⠀
Shoutout to the ones with nothing left in the tank but hitting that second wind... 💯⠀
Shoutout to the ones grinding their face off while their bank account looks like gas prices and you have NO idea when your moment is coming, you just know it WILL... 💯⠀
Shoutout to the ones that’ll NEVER struggle after this year..... 💯⠀
Shoutout to the ones that are building empires right now and leaving it ALL on the table... 💯⠀
Shoutout to the real ones. Your time is RIGHT NOW. ⠀
Every single person in this picture has been here 3+ years swinging for the fences.... 3+ years of missing no events, no meetings, no calls, nothing. Straight trench work scratching and fighting to get here. Excited to bring hundreds up here with us this year and go psycho mode with the crew. 🔥⠀
It’s about that time of year..... Fat is pretty much trimmed and we ready for takeoff. #mycanadianphotos#canada_photolovers#ig_canada#ontario_advantures#beautifulcanada#tourcanada#explorecanada#thecanadacollective#livelovecanada#raw_canada#gaylife#gaytraveling#gayman#gayguy#imagesofcanada#pockets_canada#discovercanada#igcanada
This is meeting of the waters trail in Glacier National Provincial Park. This is a beyond easy trail it has no elevation gain and it's a easy 1.4 km loop on a well maintained gravel trail with barely any rocks or open roots. But I must must say it's a beautiful stroll through the forest filled with white and blue alphine foreat flowers on both sides of the park. This took 40 mins to walk this loop. I have to say this is now one of my favorite National parks so far eventhough this was not our final destination.
I was hoping to do the glacier Crest trail which is which is about a 11.4 km hike that would have taken us about 8 hours but unfortunately we had to turn back because of bad rain. And I mean torrencial rain. So it's for another time we it has to be.. but this walk didn't disappoint.
The hotel ruins area (6th and 7th pictures) is a very famous not grizzly and black bear activity so be cautious and remember to make some noise of you are hiking by yourself like me. And we also saw grizzly bear poop (Closest I have to an encounter with a grizzly so far) 🤭
Thanks to @irisy_8 for giving me an idea to edit one of @lucancoutts raw photos. This is the first time editing someone else’s photo and putting it in a different perspective of something that I would edited. Check out my story highlights to see the before & after! 👀
The giant Cedars Boardwalk is a simple and very easy walk on a wooden boardwalk through large old cedars. The boardwalk is very safe and sturdy but can be slightly slippery on rainy days. It will take you about half hour at most which includes photo stops and gazing time included. As you walk along this trail you will come across informative posters about the trees and animals and that call these trees home. It's a dog friendly trail as long as they are kept on leash of course. This is a good quick trail to stop at and get a break from driving.
Some days I am a goddess. Some days I am a wild child. Some days I am a fragile mess. Most days I am a bit of all three, but everyday I am here, trying - S.C.Lourie #freshairandfreedom Nature has a way of bringing me back to my centre. Can’t believe this was my first back country trip of the year, but with how busy things have been I was super happy to get out in July! Can’t wait for more in August ✨
Once we reached camp both days, after hiking in plus 28 degrees for many hours, we were happy to have the freezing cold alpine lakes to cool off in. Even though my body was only able to handle going waist deep ✨ #freshairandfreedom
