Hver mandag bliver nu regnskabets time for mig de næste mange uger.
Da sidste uge startede op, var jeg allerede lidt nervøs for gårsdagens opdatering på ugens forløb til Hr. coach.
For jeg vidste ugen blev travl, som gjorde alt træning skulle gøres alene og i ydertimerne. Jeg vidste fredag, lørdag og søndag, var fyldt op med arrangementer og samvær med en masse gode mennesker.
Men... der var heldigvis sket fremskridt. 👏 og fik en rosende og motivere besked igår fra Hr. Coach igår.
Selvom jeg har haft struktur på ugen, har der været plads til restaurantbesøg og vin. Og selvom jeg ikke kunne komme på crosshold - så fik jeg lavet en masse motion som gjorde mig glad, og hvor jeg havde det sjovt. Vandski, paddleboard, svømning.... som var de ting der fyldte mest i denne varme uge.
Hvad gik ekstra godt jeg kan give videre?
Jeg overholdte aftaler med mig selv! Det er den største succes! Når jeg havde planlagt en træning blev det gjort. Når jeg ville forberede mad, blev det gjort.
Og det er den bedste følelse at være loyal overfor sig selv🙌
Ved alle uger får forskellige variationer... men nu skal man nyde sine sejre.

When you start to train with purpose and you really learn how the foods that you are eating are either benefiting you or holding you back, only then do you really start to experience change.
Truth is, as soon as you start doing something positive for yourself change is inevitable.
Transforming your body, your health and your mind is a choice.
What are you going to choose for yourself today?
What are you going to do today that is going to extend your life?
What are you going to do today that is going to improve your confidence?
What are you doing today that will help you achieve your goals?
Where are you right now, and is it where you want to be?

Focus on your own transformation before leading others to it.
I learned a 5-step process when you’re trying to equip another person to complete/achieve a task. It goes like this...
1️⃣ I do it.
2️⃣ I do it, and you are with me.
3️⃣ You do it, and I am with you.
4️⃣ You do it.
5️⃣ You do it, and someone is with you.
Why do I say this? Because I want you to notice that the process begins with I DO IT. If I want to help others be transformational, I must first be transformed.
I cannot give what I do not have. Neither can you.
The first person you must lead will always be you. If you want to see positive changes in your world, the first person you must change is you.
🗣 As leaders, you and I have to be changed to bring change. We teach what we know, but we reproduce who we are.
Before I personally experienced the transformation of shifting from a desire to make my life successful (whether it be changing my body, basketball, leaving the life of crime to do positive things, building a business,...), it never entered my mind that I could be a catalyst for positive change. It never entered my heart either. There was no passion within me to help others experience positive change.
However, when I began to experience positive change in my life and became less selfish, I was eager to share what was happening with others.
Knowing that I was changing got me excited about helping others change too.
If you want to lead any positive change, you need to realize this: transformation begins with you. If you’re not willing to change, you’re not going to be able to help anyone else.
Philosopher and author James Allen wrote....
🗣 “Men are anxious to improve their circumstances, but are unwilling to improve themselves; they therefore remain bound.”
If you want to lead positive change, don’t remain bound. Be willing to change within.
Start with you.
That’s always the first step to making a difference.

Congrats to #CCBElite 2023 member, Jarren Advincula (utility), on being selected to workout with Team USA 15u! This kid is the perfect combination of athleticism, advanced baseball IQ, and relentless work ethic. Although he isn’t the overly developed specimen that passes the immediate eye test, this kid can flat out PLAY! He’s the guy that when you watch the game you realize he knows how to play the COMPLETE game. He’s silky smooth in the infield, consistent and savvy offensively with some pop, has plus speed on the bases, a great arm, and he can mix speeds on the mound! It’s been fun watching you grow and become the athlete you are today! Jarren is going to be on a lot of school’s watchlist! Keep grinding 👌
