Everything in life is a learned skill. You don’t just wake up great at something! When you compare your day 1 to someone else’s day 1000, you lose sight of what happened to that person that made them transform into who they are today!
You don’t see the blood, sweat and tears in those perfect pictures you see posted. You don’t see the work they put in, and the sacrifices they make day in and day out! You are just looking at the end result!
Everyone has a day one, there is no exception! If you are saying you can’t do something, you’re wrong! You are choosing not to try! There’s a huge difference!
Next time you catch yourself saying “I can’t” change that dialogue to “I won’t” and see how it feels! “I won’t eat clean”, “I won’t put my health first”, “I won’t play with my kids”, “I won’t do what it takes”
The difference between people who achieve what they set out to do, and the people sitting around wishing they could, is that they actually got up and tried! It has nothing to do with capability! It has everything to do with mindset and a purpose that is greater than your desire to stay in your comfort zone forever, wishing things were different!

I had to make myself eat more today in order to meet my calorie goal. It has played a difference in my results eating my goal amount of calories. Up until a week ago I was all over the place! Some days I’d have 900 calories, some days 1200, some days my goal 1650. I was stalled for 3 months. Thank you @marandaratcliff for guiding me on this.
Oh and no cheats, just good ol clean eating on keto. 🙌🏻
Posting either of these photos makes me sick to my stomach. I would never make fun of someone else for their body shape or size, but it’s really easy to do for yourself. It’s really easy to be so hateful to yourself. I am not where I want to be. Not even close, actually. But I’m working my way there. The truth is that if I don’t accept who and where I’ve been in the past, at any point, it will hold me back from propelling forward into the future. I have to love who I am aside from the shape I take. I have struggled with my weight my whole life. I’ve carried resentment with me all these years that that’s my story. That I’m a weight loss story. I want to show you pictures of me on spring break at 16 and feel like a babe, but I can’t. Does that really matter though? Or is who I am today and who I’m choosing to be tomorrow what matters? Seemingly, no matter what I do, my body barely budges. I have to be extra strict. Put in 2x the work. I’ve struggled with my thyroid this past year, which made me very quickly gain TWENTY POUNDS. How stressful is that?! I already wanted to lose twenty pounds. I’ve had my off days where I eat some frozen chocolate bananas or some gluten-free pizza (like right now), but I’ve been pushing myself. I have always wanted to get to my goal body and then hide from any of the bodies I’ve ever had before that. I can’t do that. I have to own who I’ve been and where I’ve been. You are truly capable of anything as long as you put in the work and make yourself uncomfortable. Change can’t happen if you don’t change anything. Growth doesn’t happen in a comfort zone. It can’t be easy. But it’s always worth it. Love yourself along the way 💫

Banded DB chest Presses - If your limited with the weights (which I think most people are given the circumstances) that you have available here’s a little way to make things tougher with what you have. Even if your not limited this is a great way to hit your chest a little differently.

The picture to your left was just a few months before I started my weight loss. It took me 6 dedicated months to drop 72 POUNDS. Just by looking at my outfit you can see how I felt about the way I looked. You can’t hide what you think of yourself 🤷🏻♀️, trust me ! Organic chicken breast, butterflied
Dairy free parmesan
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt + pepper to taste
Grab two frying pans
Spread one tbs of oil on each pan
On high, sear chicken on both sides
Add asparagus to other pan, keep on medium and add squirt of lemon juice - salt + pepper to taste
Lower chicken temp to medium and spread pesto on all pieces, add chopped cherry tomatoes + squirt of lemon juice
Close lid and let simmer for 5-7 min.
Keep turning asparagus
Remove both from heat
Top chicken with dairy free parm
Plate + Endulge!

I want to keep increasing my strength, specifically on my deadlift and squat. I’m also thinking about competing for the first time this year in the new wellness division. Sooooo I need to increase the size of my legs and work on tightening up my waist. I’ve thought about competing for like 6 years now (holy crap that’s a long time 😅), and now I may actually do it! I’ll get into more of the “competing details” in future posts... once I have my game plan totally sorted out! 💪🏻
