Daydream Island Ferry #turnbacktime#tbt SLIDE LEFT to go back to 2012, our last visit. ➡️➡️➡️➡️ 🤰Harry was still in the tummy, 👶Alex was nearly 2 and 🧒 Jed was 4. Back then @daydreamislandresort looked a whole lot different prior to the 2017 devastation courtesy of Cyclone Debbie. 🛥 We took the ferry over with @cruisewhitsundays who operate regular services throughout the day. 💺 It was like an airport checkin on arrival, our bags checked and on to the waiting lounge. The difference to an airport were beautiful sea views, heaps of fish swimming by and a really modern cafe / entrance hall. ☕ We boarded the less than half hour ferry ride, enjoying a coffee and egg and bacon rolls on the way. We figured an easy brunch on the go meant more time exploring the resort when we got there.
Dave’s had a busy day checking out the Opus Melbourne factory today! Check out the video for a tour of all camper colours....👇comment below with your favourite colour, we’d love to know😀
Camping with kids is a lot of fun. Just experiencing their joy at sleeping in sleeping bags and in a tent is enough for me. But to see them interact with nature, learn about it, respect it and love the experience - that is just the icing on the cake. Camping is a great family holiday and here at Honeymoon Pool where you are in the middle of the bush, it is really very special. Link in bio for more information on this amazing place. Just watch those pesky ducks - they will steal your food!
Honeymoon Pool, in Wellington National Park, Western Australia is an absolutely stunning part of the countryside. A small number of campsites nestled amongst trees offer a peaceful holiday experience. Be sure to check it out. More information in the link above.
If there are 10,000 reasons you can’t smile, find at least one and own it! 😘

I headed to the Blue Mountains last weekend, which is a short 1.5 hour drive west of Sydney. I survived driving on the other side of the car and road for the first time 😰 and once the rain cleared, the Blue Mountains were beautiful. There are a bunch of little mountain towns that take you further north into the mountains. Katoomba is the largest, but I enjoyed the smaller, more authentic feel of Leura and Blackheath. I hiked the Grand Canyon Track that took me down into the canyon where the rainforest climate was a stark contrast to the canyon. It was a nice, quick weekend break from big city Sydney life.
There are 164 volcanoes, vents and cones in this area which was once a hive of volcanic activity but currently dormant. You can see the tops of volcanoes every where you look including one here in the distance 🌋
Such vibrant colours in the bush 🌈. Hiking up to the rim of the Kalkani Volcanic Crater - last erupted 20,000 years ago 🌋

With all this delicious time on my hands while bob drives 😂 I’m reading so much more. I would love peoples book recommendations, I like a real mix of books but nothing to scary...we have to be out in the dark to much for that 😂
By the way how cool is this for a backyard? It was ours the other day...we camped just a few meters into the tree line 🌳
How beautiful is that sunset with the moon 🌙
The island looked a little bit like Mako Island and it was full moon haha. Did you watched H2O?
Today was just a perfect day because a dream went true. Horse riding at an Australian beach and through the rainforest. I did it once at a beach in the Netherlands but you can‘t compare this! 🐎
Tomorrow we will go to the Blue Hole and a Waterfall! We decided to stay one more night because here is so much to see!
Enjoy your Wednesday Babes 💫

Almost like having a warm bath 🛀 . Loved having a good soak in the mineral hot springs. There were six pools at different temperatures from cool to hot. The hottest was super hot at 38-40 degrees. I lasted two minutes before I had to get out of it and jump in the cool pool to cool down.
